Enchanting quiet gite close to marvelous Honfleur

Can’t say enough positive about this wonderful vacation home well situated and providing a welcome quiet respite from the hubbub of the nearby fishing village. 5 stars. And the hosts were exceedingly helpful. Know that there is a narrow staircase going to the bedrooms all upstairs.

Highly recommended. Beautiful gite in a stunning location

I cannot recommend this property high enough. Beautiful location. Really peaceful and quiet but only 10 minutes walk from town. The hill into Honfleur is a little steep but it's easy to park at the bottom if this may be a problem to you. Very comfortable and well equipped. Very well maintained. Plenty of outside space. The bottle of wine on arrival was very much appreciated. Will definitely return at some point in the future.

Cosy gatehouse of Villa des Bois with everything you need to stay for a couple of days. Easy entry to the coast to visit Trouville and Deauville and other places within half an hour up to three quarters of an hour. Very nice host!

Positiv: Lage des Hauses (ruhig und im Grünen), Garten schön zum Essen und praktisch mit Hund Negativ: durchgelegene Matratzen, schlecht funktionierendes Haustürschloss, eine Nacht mussten wir mit offener Tür verbringen, bis am nächsten Vormittag jemand zur Wartung kam),Spinnwebenund Spinnen in jeder Ecke des Hauses, ausgefranste Kabel, aus der Wand hängende Halter, fleckige Polstermöbel, Schimmel im Bad, sehr unangenehmer Vermieterkontakt

Tolles Haus mit Garten, 12-15 Gehminuten ins Zentrum oder zum Strand. Es war alles in der Küche vorhanden. Garten eingezäunt für den Hund. Sehr netter Gastgeber!

Nice and quiet house in a beautiful envitonment

We enjoyed a fine holiday in this house. Contact with the hosts was friendly and they invited us for a drink in their beautiful villa. The house is on the top of a hill near a very old chapel. Walking to Honfleur is not long but the way up requires good walking condition. The curtains in the house require some attention because the hanging system has some defects. That would improve the evening atmosphere inside.

lovely scenery

It was fantastic! We loved the house with the large windows facing into that fantastic garden and you could reach Honfleur within few minutes driving through a lovely scenery. The owner was very friendly and invited us over for a drink.

Pas de surprise sur cette location qui est au calme et dans un endroit magique. Les photos sont bien conformes. La location mériterait cependant un petit rafraîchissement. Wunderbare Lage

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und idyllisch, von dort aus waren alle unsere Ziele mit dem Auto und Honfleur zu Fuß gut zu erreichen.

un gîte parfait pour 4, calme et cosy

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, la maison était impeccable, très propre, les lits tous faits à notre arrivée, avec un petit cadeau de bienvenue. Nous avons eu un peu de mal à joindre la propriétaire qui était en vacances de Noel , car nous ne trouvions pas la vanne d'eau (fermée à notre arrivée) ; ce fut une petite péripétie sans gravité. Ensuite le séjour était idyllique, rien à dire ! Oh, si un mot encore : Merci !

Gite in ruhiger Lage und trotzdem mittendrin

Wir haben rund zwei Wochen in der Gite verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus liegt in einem eingezäunten Grundstück, was für junge Eltern mit Kindern sehr angenehm ist. In dem großzügigen Garten findet man immer ein schattiges Plätzchen. Der Ortskern von Honfleur ist per pedes erreichbar - mit dem Auto sind es gut drei Minuten. Die Ausstattung ist gut - wir haben nichts vermisst.
