Even the family dog can come along for the fun! Let the little ones help to prepare a delicious family meal in the full kitchen - you'll find everything you need to turn out something wonderful, from the stainless steel appliances to the gorgeous cookware. With seating for eight, the dining table has plenty of room for your next dinner party. We had a great time staying over the Thanksgiving holiday. The townhome is right near the trail around Lake Estes and is an easy 1 mile walk to town and several coffee shops. The home itself is well equipped and pet friendly. It was snowing while we were there and the townhome allows parking in its two-car garage. We hope to visit again next year.

The place was lovely and well stocked with amenities. We were lucky enough to have a heard of elk walk right by our back patio. The indoor fireplace was lovely. Disapppointing that the cost to have our dog stay was very high, which I didn’t realize when I booked.

Fourth Time!

We just returned from our fourth trip to Running Bear in the Rockies and have already booked it again for the fall. The condo is very clean, fully stocked, and a great location minutes from the lake. What a gem!

What a great place to stay. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. In a quiet neighborhood but close to town and it was walking distance to Lake Estes. As a former vacation rental owner, I appreciate other very nice rentals. Would definitely stay here again.
