The beachfront was incredible and the lobby/dining area were nice too. My room wasn't the cleanest in the world. Dust in the bathroom and a few loose stands of hair by the shower which tells me it wasn't cleaned before my stay. Comfy bed and friendly staff. May give it another chance once I'm in the Hilton Head area again, but may look elsewhere first. The cleanliness (or lack thereof) in my room kinda turns me off

Yes our room was very clean. The staff was wonderful . hey sent us a bottle of wine for our 58th wedding anniversary. The beach view was beautiful and pool was excellent. We really enjoyed our visit. This was the 4th time we have come to celebrate our anniversary.

Had to change rooms 3 times. Rooms are old, dirty, experienced a lot of black mold growing in room on the walls. However, the day time staff was very helpful in assuring a correction of room concern. Beach view was nice, heated pool was nice- but needed some work, flooring had lots of sharp edges and cracks. Outdoor decks and property were really well done.

Gorgeous place; wonderful staff. We found the beach music way too loud and we were on the 9th floor. Was on all day. Would have preferred just listening to the waves.

Hotel location is excellent! Lobby and restaurant looked to have been remodeled and reflected an upscaled vibe. Pool area has plenty of lounge chairs and sun and shade options. Hot tubs were not working but pool was clean and outdoor staff were very attentive. We stayed many times at this resort when it was managed by Hyatt thirty years ago. The rooms need some updating! Our room had a musty smell and had some mold spots. Room sizes are large as well as the balcony. Beds were comfortable but the rest of the furniture had a lot of wear and tear and the area around the in room refrigerator was dirty! If Hilton puts some money to upgrade the rooms this could be a 5 star hotel until then it is only average!

Property seemed dated, room in need of a paint job years ago, paint was chipping and damaged. Biggest issue that we had is that we were charged a "RESORT FEE". When we got to the beach sitting is a chair was NOT included in that fee, there was an additional fee. Asking for the use of an on property bike (in a biking resort) was also not included. When I asked what the additional $36 a day got us... I was told 2 bottles of water a day and the the ability to do our own laundry at the facility. Not sure where they are buying that water ??? but I might suggest a trip to Costco and a more reasonable level of services for the additional fees above and beyond the nightly room rates.

After being placed in a different room because the first room had noodles on the floor, holes in the walls and scratches as well. We were placed in a slightly better room. The only thing that was better was the view but there was still damages around the electric sockets and the walls had scratches as well. The food at the Blue Restaurant was terrible the first night, the second night we had to leave because we waited almost an hour for food. We only wanted to use the restaurant for convenience but it ended up being an inconvenience. Everything is overpriced for what you actually receive from the property. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Not easy to move around. Had to walk steps with luggage when we got there and left. No information about the island. No maps or even a list of where to dine out. This will be my first ( which I told the desk) and my last time on the island. I’ve been very sick over this whole experience!!!

This is a nice hotel. Definitely a step up from the former Hilton. One suggestion is that it would be nice if they made available some Level 2 EV chargers in their parking area(s). It would be convenient for EV drivers, an additional source of revenue for Hilton, and would probably increase bookings.
