Decent Hotel, Clean & Quiet

We were in Auburn to visit the car museum and wanted a decent hotel for the trip. The Tru by Hilton is nothing fancy. Rooms are utilitarian in nature (no closet, hooks instead); small fridge was nice; bathroom bright & clean. No coffee in the room; but the coffee from the lobby was not that much of an inconvenience and was very good. Breakfast was fair. There was only one bedside lamp (and we both read at night). Hotel is a bit too contemporary in style for my overall preference, but the it was clean and quiet. It's also located next to a gravel pit and behind some business buildings. Good overall, but not excellent!

Very nice but quirky hotel. The room really needs a second side chair (any room with two beds should have two chairs). Common areas are friendly and quiet. Love the round the clock coffee.
