The accessibility to the beach was wonderful. There were adequate beds and common area spaces for our family of 20. The little people enjoyed the sail boat built into the dining area. The laundry availability was fabulous.The owner was working on improving the hot water availability.Overal perfect for us.

Another fun stay at this venue! Our only complaint was that there seemed to be something going on with the hot water. We couldn't seem to get any in some of the bathrooms, and had to take a lot of VERY cold showers. It would be nice if that were corrected by next year.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving. We had a large group of 34. Ages one to eighty three. The house was well layed out for such a large group. Directly on the beach with privacy. My complaint would be the lack of cleanliness. The owner did give us the cleaning fee back. There were nine bathrooms in the house and every shower had very poor pressure and all the tubs had draining issues. There were two dish washers, only one was working and the second one quit on day two. Despite these issues, a good time was had by all.

We had a wonderful time and would stay again. Location was perfect and plenty of space for our large group. The place had lots of fun details and room for the kids to play. The littles especially loved the ship with the slide. The place needs a deep clean. A few things did not work and were mentioned to the host (1 shower, oven range, Keurig, and fridge struggled to stay cold). We did not like the taste of the water and ended up buying all our drinking water. Also, for a place that large would expect there to be enough place settings for 40 ppl to eat, and there were not. We ended up getting disposable utensils/cups/plates to survive. Otherwise we found what we needed in the kitchen. The kitchen was a good size. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was huge! Bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms everywhere. That was a huge plus. The theater room, arcade room and indoor playground/ship were amazing for the kids. The back porch looking at the beach was perfect. The private boardwalk to the water couldn't be beat! We had a group of almost 20 (adults and children) and everyone was very comfortable. A few things that might help with planning: while the fridge looks big, we were glad we had a cooler for drinks because it didn't hold as much as you might think. One out of the two dishwashers was not working, but since there was one in working order it was okay! Bring paper plates/bowls/cups and plasticware (forks, spoons, knives). There was not enough actual dinnerware for our big group so we were glad we brought paper products. We found lots of towels in the dryer so check there if you think you don't have enough! The address wasn't correct on Google Maps (Google apparently is not yet updated) so be sure to talk with the property owners/managers before arrival so you know where you're going. It was just down the road from where Google tried to take us. Very simple to find! Overall we had a great time! The house was perfect for our large group and everything went smoothly!

Even better than expected!! Layout of this house is perfection - plenty of space for us all to be together without ever feeling crowded. Kitchen was amazing to cook in (best view I've ever prepared a meal with), and made cooking for and serving 30 people a breeze. There were a few hiccups with some of the equipment working (I can only imagine what a beast maintenance is on a house this size) but host was very responsive and helpful. We were a little intimidated by all the stairs at first but in the end even my elderly father was able to take his time and enjoyed the place so much he never gave the stairs a second thought. Air conditioning worked great. Each family enjoyed having control over the temperature in their bedroom. Everyone agreed that this will be our annual family vacation spot from here on out.Tips: Remember to bring your own paper towels and toilet paper - We had a large crowd and knew there wouldn't be enough dishes so we also brought our own paper plates and plastic ware, cups etc. Also with a beach trip you want to bring your own beach gear and towels. There were enough towels provided for the bathrooms in the house, but not for the beach too.

The house was in excellent condition and well maintain... Very comfortable for everyone. I highly recommend this property. We had some trouble with the refrigerator cooling. But we finally got it worked out. Our only recommendation would be for a ramp to be installed. We had five or six people ... seniors.. It was very difficult for them to navigate the stairs. Once we got upstairs on the balcony, all was well. We do plan on returning next year.

This beach house is absolutely amazing. It is the perfect spot for large families and gatherings. We had about 40 family members in town for the weekend, and we were all so comfortable. The bedrooms with a bathroom in each bedroom are such an added plus and made it so easy for everybody to have their own space. The living and dining area is so spacious that we were all able to comfortably sit, eat, play games (Bingo, cards, dominoes) and even line dance "Boots on the Ground", etc. The kitchen area is a dream with 2 islands and double sinks in each island and multiple burners on the stove. It makes it so easy to have several cooks in the kitchen preparing meals. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The beach is easily accessible and has a very nice walkway from the house leading directly to the beach. There are not many homes close by which makes it almost feel like you have your own private beach. The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking.The new Pirates play area that was just built was super fun for the kids, in addition to the Theater room and Media room. This house has everything you need. We had a few minor glitches, but the host Andrew was super responsive. We had such a wonderful time creating cherished memories that we plan to come back next year.Cathy Morris-Jimmerson

The house had it all for every member of our party - Perfect kitchen, spacious arias, the house had it all. We are all so happy we found your Anchor house! . It makes it a perfect yearly friends and family gathering. Everyone was so happy with everything it had to offer. The bridge to the beach makes it wonderful addition.

Great house and great location, with amazing privacy for a beach house. Impressive walkway to the beach. Kids enjoyed the theater and game room. Host was very responsive. If you're bringing a lot of people, be prepared to provide additional plates, utensils and drinking cups. Overall, definitely would consider a return trip.

Great place to stay with a large family. House was great in everyway. Kitchen was well equipped and the kids loved the media room. Only draw back is it’s a public beach, so if you’re staying for the weekend, I would recommend getting to the beach by 9 to secure you a place in front of the house. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spacious space for big family gathering (32 total)

We had a truly enjoyable stay, the home is impressively spacious, and we especially loved that each room had its own private bathroom. The large kitchen was ideal for our group, offering a lot of seating for meals and gatherings. The layout is fantastic for our families. Walking path to the beach.That said, there were a few areas that could use some attention. Upon arrival, we felt the downstairs floors were sandy and we vacuumed it. There were also cheese smudges on some cabinets, and drawers. The housekeeper was still finishing up around 5 p.m., bless her heart, she was doing her best!While the home itself is beautiful, a deep cleaning and a few maintenance updates would make a big difference:• Several toilets had noticeable rings around the base and urine smell.• Toaster: right side not functioning - need replacement.• Dishwasher: left door doesn’t close properly, we did not use.• Minor wall damage: holes behind doors from doorknobs• Jack and Jill bathroom: right sink drains very slowly• Rust came from some bathrooms shower-heads. Note: charcoal grills not propane.Despite these issues, we truly enjoyed our time here and see tremendous potential in this property. With a little extra care, it could be absolutely perfect!

This was a fantastic house for a week at the beach with a large family. There were 35 of us and the proximity to the beach was unmatched. The theater room was an amazing hideout for the kids/teens and it was so nice to have an actual bed for everyone in our group. Almost every bedroom had its own bathroom as well, which really helped.A couple things that could use improvement: First, the kitchen is not properly stocked for a group this size. There were only 8 dinner and 8 salad plates. The quantity of utensils and cups was similar. Also, there is only one bath towel per person with no extras to be found anywhere. The seating area in the living room only contains a sofa, love seat, and a chair, so it was difficult for the entire family to gather in that location. Finally, there was a big problem with ants everywhere. The house needs a deep cleaning, not just a "straighten things up" cleaning.Overall, this was a great find!

Our stay was AWESOME!

This beach mansion was absolutely perfect for our family reunion!Every bedroom having its own bathroom was such a game-changer—it made getting ready a breeze for our big group. The host was excellent with communication and made everything easy from start to finish. The kitchen was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed—pots, pans, knives, and more—which made cooking our family meals together a joy.The beach access couldn’t have been better—there’s a bridge with ramps on both sides just steps from the back of the house, making it super convenient for everyone. Best of all, the kids (from toddlers to teens) had an amazing time!We made so many great memories here and would absolutely stay again.

Excellent house for big groups

We were four families with eight adults and 14 kids. This house was amazing for us. There was enough room that we could have another family of five join us and possibly more. Everything is in really great working order and the house looks amazing. So many places for the various kids to go play when we weren’t at the beach.
