Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was not exactly friendly, but did their jobs well. We booked for cruise parking thinking we could walk to port. It's possible to do so, but not easily - due to construction going on at port and streets leading to it. Shuttle to the port was easy to catch, well timed and quick. Return trip wasn't as easy - 3 pick-up times and a possible trip of 45 min. before getting to the car. They advised we send one person to walk to the car and pick the rest of us up, which is what we did. Most of this isn't the fault of the hotel - it's due to the construction.

We will stay here again when cruising out of Galveston Port! There is currently construction but once the construction is complete, walking to the port will be a breeze. Beautiful view of the port as we watched several boats and saw so many dolphins! It was a great stay!
