We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, but there were a few hiccups which is the reason for the 4 stars in stead of 5. Cleanliness is most important to us overall. This hotel was extremely clean! There was a faint mildew smell in the room, but being right across the street from the beach and being an older hotel, it's to be expected. The location was awesome! There is a nice restaurant in front of the hotel and the hotel is located right on the seawall across from the beach. The indoor pool is nice and clean. The breakfast was great with many options ...except the waffle mix was made too thin which made the waffles not cook correctly. I had the plain waffle and my wife had the strawberry flavored waffle. They did not taste good. The beds were too firm for us. We had a nice view of the beach from our balcony. The shower had great water pressure with hot water. The A/C worked great! The hotel was quiet and very affordable compared to alot of others located on the island.

Stayed in room 105, the handicap room though my partner and I are neither disabled. The shower overflowed thus flooding the bathroom, entry way into the room and some of the carpeted room. Upon notifying the front desk, their attitude was a weak "sorry for the inconvenience". I will not be staying there again.

The staff was very friendly & provided great service BUT this property needs to be renovated immediately! There was a strong smell of mildew in the halls and especially our room. And in the room there appeared to be rot & mold on the walls & baseboards. Also, the breakfast was not good at all.
