"The Perfect Escape" for your ultimate Bear Lake getaway! Large deck with a twisty slide, BBQ grill & Blackstone. Paddle board & kayaks! Plenty of open area to talk & play games, space for everyone to park, room for boats/ATVs/trailers.

Each bedroom was designed with guests in mind; the rooms are spacious to accommodate luggage, portable cribs, and to avoid feeling crammed. All of the beds (excluding bunk beds) are king size, which sets this home apart from most other rentals. To top it all off, there are smart TVs in every bedroom (besides the bunk room)!

Ideal Beach
Certainly you are planning your summer trip to Bear Lake to play in the water! The lake is a quick five minute drive down the hill, and you won't have to worry about overcrowded beaches because this home includes access to Ideal Beach Resort! Ideal Beach Resort has private beach access (only available to those with a pass), pools, hot tubs, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, a large grassy area, plenty of shade, water sport rentals, mini golf, playgrounds, ice cream shop, and many activities suited for children, teens, and families!

Upstairs
This home was built with the comfort of guests in mind. Spacious windows overlook Bear Lake so guests can enjoy the Caribbean of the Rockies from the living room or deck. The upstairs gathering space includes comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a smart TV. The kitchen includes a small pantry, plenty of counter space, and every supply a guest might need to prepare and serve meals. In addition to the large dining table, there is seating on the deck to enjoy meals and classic Bear Lake raspberry shakes after a long day well-spent at the beach.

The master suite is spacious, luxurious and functional with a king bed, comfortable furniture (including a sofa bed) and smart TV. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub and a walk-in closet. One more bedroom with a king bed is located on this floor (also with a smart TV). A full bathroom is in-between the master and the other bedroom.

Downstairs
Plenty of space to relax, watch movies, or play board games on the large game table. Directly outside the basement doors there is a private hot tub which can be enjoyed during any season.

There is one basement bedroom with a king bed and smart TV and another with a king bed, smart TV, and en-suite bathroom. The last bedroom in the home is a bunk room with two twin bunk beds (each with a twin trundle bed underneath). If your group has a few extra guests, there are a couple of roll-out beds to accommodate them! A pack-and-play is available.

Outdoors
In addition to plentiful outdoor seating, guests are welcome to use the propane and/or Blackstone grills. The kids will love the twisty slide that is attached to the deck! The living room has large windows spanning the east side of the home to ensure constant lake views. Plenty of parking space for everyone's vehicles, trailers, ATVs, etc in the pull-through driveway. Feel free to store a boat or park in the garage for additional peace of mind. The garage is tall enough for a boat tower. The owners of this home are happy to share their kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs and toys with guests! No camping, including RV camping, allowed in this HOA.

For winter guests: 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended in the winter. This driveway and surrounding roads will be plowed after a snow storm but driving conditions can be unpredictable so guests are encouraged to drive with caution.

This home is located near Bear Lake Golf Course (5 mins), Ideal Beach Resort (7 mins), Pickleville Playhouse (5 mins), raspberry shakes/favorite food options (10 mins), Bear Lake State Park/Marina (15 mins), Minnetonka Caves (45 mins). Beaver Mountain Ski Resort (30 mins), and snowmobiling/sledding in the Logan Canyon (30 mins).

Perfect weekend getaway

House is spacious and clean. Lots of room for our family of 7 to spread out. Spectacular view from the deck. Kitchen had all the amenities and tools to cook family meals. Plenty of parking for the 3 cars we had with us. We would happily rent here again.

My daughter loved the slide. We loved the views and the hot tub. It’s so nice to be able to go to Ideal Beach where we can relax by the water. My daughter also loves the playgrounds and swings on the beach. I wish I could buy the house!

Wonderful weekend getaway!

This property was exactly what we wanted for our quick weekend away. The home had a great view of the lake and the surrounding area. The home was well stocked. We had more than enough space for our group. The home was clean and well taken care of. We even had 3 moose visit us on two different day. We will be back again.

Our 3 day stay was amazing, couldn’t ask for anything more. It had plenty of room for the whole family enjoy board games. Family movie time, the home lay out was perfect. Would stay here again and the family agrees :) and access to Ideal Beach and the amenities was a plus, something for all ages.

Family Spring Break

We planned a family spring break trip and this house was perfect. It was clean and well appointed. A snow storm delayed our stay by a day and the super friendly and helpful property manager worked things out for us to shift the missed day to the end since the house wasn’t booked!!! The areas famous raspberry shakes were hard to find during he off season but well worth the hunt.

Excellent Property

We enjoyed our stay at the Sweetwater property. The home had everything we needed and more. We were able to stay warm and cozy in the winter conditions. The property is very well insulated. The only issues we had were minor. Some of our folks had TV remotes that didn't seem to work. The hot tub had some gunk around the top of the water. The ice maker in the fridge didn't seem to work. One thing to note is the road and driveway situation. I might have missed it in the listing, but this property is in an area where some of the roads aren't paved. The last 1/4 mile or so to the house is dirt and the driveway is also. We came prepared with AWD vehicles for the most part. The dirt road is pretty rough at this stage of winter with large holes and dips. Depending on if snow was melted or not, the sloped driveway was pretty muddy. We had a great stay and would choose this property again, but if I had known about the road situation I probably would have gone with somewhere different for a snowy winter stay. The condition of the roads was at the limit of what I would take a car on. If you drive something with AWD/4WD and a little bit of ground clearance, it's not a big deal. More info in the listing about the roads would be a good idea. Given that there probably aren't a lot of people vacationing to Bear Lake in snowy March, this is likely not something most people would experience.

Amazing Winter Retreat

Absolutely loved this property as a whole - the space is massive and kept very well. House is obviously new - and the view is incredible. The hot tub on the bottom porch is fantastic as well 👌🏼 Driving up to the location can certainly be daunting with snowy roads. We played "hard mode" and drove a rear-wheel Mustang up to the property - the roads are plowed to a point but you'll need to drive up inclined packed snow roads to get up. Put several hundred pounds in the trunk for traction and made it without much concern. Highly recommend AWD or 4X4 if you have available! Overall one of my favorite long weekend rentals I have ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location

This was a weekend getaway for my family. We wanted to play in the snow and hang out in the hot tub. There was 3 feet of snow there but the walks and driveway and roads were all cleared before we arrived. They had some sleds in the garage as well. Everything worked well and was a great experience. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We loved this house!

The home was very accommodating to our large family, and we loved our stay! It was well stocked with plenty of towels, kitchen necessities and even a box of garbage bags that we really appreciated having. The beds were cozy and comfortable, and we all loved them. The bunk room was a hit with our kids and there was plenty of space for all 14 of us to gather and play games, eat, and watch movies! We’d definitely come back.. Thanks for having us!

Lovely Lakehouse!

This property was clean, spacious, and just as advertised. We enjoyed a holiday in the beautiful dining area and there was plenty of space for our large family. The hot tub was clean and beautiful! The fireplace was not working, which was disappointing, but we ended up being plenty warm without it.

Four Bedroom with King-Sized Beds

When looking for a place to stay I wanted to make sure each of the three families had the same or better comforts as they did at their home. Therefore, king-sized beds in every bedroom made this home a slam dunk for our family. And the bunkroom for the smaller children was perfect. The neighborhood is peaceful. Most of the homes surrounding this home were empty so very little traffic or people noise from adjoining areas. The home is just a mile or two from Ideal Beach Resort and four or five miles from the main bank of restaurants. We enjoyed our time at Ideal Beach Resort during the days. We ate breakfast and lunch in the house and either went out or had take out for all of our dinners. The decks are shaded in the evening and perfect for just sitting around and recovering from our day of activities. The younger kids and a few of the adults enjoyed the slide going from the top deck to the bottom deck. We did have a difficult time regulating the temperature between the upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs was warm in the evenings while the basement was too cold. It looked like others may have struggled the same because of all of the different settings on the Nest thermostat. We were there four nights and never quite found the sweet spot so that both levels had the right sleeping temperature. Even at that we would still rent this home again.

We loved everything about this place. It was beautiful and clean. Plenty of room for our extended family. It has a wonderful large great room for eating and gathering. Also a nice big deck. Kids loved the slide! We had a great time at Ideal Beach. Our Grabndkids wanted to stay longer. We have rented lots of properties for our family and this one was by far our favorite.

Everyone had their own space and was very comfortable. Beautiful home with a great view of Bear Lake. We loved the hot tub and the deck. Would definitely recommend!
