The place was very clean and very close to the main strip. Parking could be better unless you have a compact car or small sedan. This is not a place for trucks.

This is our second visit to Gatlinburg Town Square. Our condo unit was very clean. The in unit washer/dryer was very much appreciated. It was reassuring that our car was secured safely in their underground garage. The facility is very well lit at night. It is just a brief walk to downtown. Everyone associated with GTS was very kind and helpful when needed.

We did not have hot water in our building our entire stay. We noticed it immediately when settling in our room. When we contacted the front desk we were told they were working on the boiler and it should be fixed soon. We realized the next morning that we wouldn't have hot water the entire weekend. Twenty-four hours after checking in we asked for a different room and were told they didn't have a room available but we could go to a different building for showers. We did that twice during our stay. We felt they should have been truthful immediately and should have offered some type of compensation.

I go to Gatlinburg yearly (for the last 4 years) for a southern gospel event called Gaither Family Fest. I have enjoyed staying at Gatlinburg Town Square because it is an easy walk to the convention center AND the parkway.

Location

The location is excellent. Because it is multiple properties and our check in was at a different property from the one we stayed in the directions to our unit was a bit confusing. Our unit was very nice and comfortable. In the ADA bedroom three outlets had no power causing one lamp and the TV not to work but it didn’t affect our stay.

We received a free upgrade bc evidently they had an issue with a water heater, but initially until I asked, all I knew was that we received an extra bedroom and bathroom in an upgraded room that was awesome. It was truly nice. Staying again next time.

Satisfied overall

We were there for the Gaither Family Fest. The main issue that we had was no hot water during our stay. I did see (and killed) a silverfish that was in the kitchen utensil drawer. The bed was comfortable. And the staff was very kind when we checked out and zero out our bill. So I just have to deal with Expedia now to get the refund.

Crappy hotel

Not disability friendly.Did not comply with American with Disabilities Act. No elevator Cavalier attitude by staff. No coffee in the room, however, we had a coffee pot. Sliding glass door didn't lock. No fresh towels were brought...we stayed 3 nights. Lighting was poor. Water pressure was none Upon checkout, at 8:15am, I went in and the guy behind the counter, was on the phone with headphones on and said to me...' hey, how's it going?' Not good morning not how was your stay, nothing ! Very impersonal. Sure won't be back here!!

I thought all rooms had balconies but when we got there we did not have one. Very disappointing. The room was very clean and well stocked with supplies. It was within walking distance of convention center n the parkway. Had a lot to offer. Life size checkers, basketball, hot tub and indoor pool. We had a problem with our door n someone was there within 5 minutes to fix it.

I liked the location and the amenities, even though there was some construction. Rooms were nice sized and set up great. I did not like that there was a leak from the roof (we were on the top floor). I told the front desk and they sent a maintenance man. However, though my clothes and my purse and toiletries bag got soaking wet, and my feet were wet every time I walked through to the bedroom, they offered no apology, no discount, or anything. It was disappointing. The gym, is a joke. I hope there are plans to upgrade that and the furniture at some point. Feels like you are back in the 70's.

It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing. Front desk people weren’t the friendliest or helpful to be honest. Nobody checked on the room the entire time so no room service. Only positive was that each bedroom had a bathroom so that was nice to have for a girls trip.
