Mountain Top Adventure Condo

Renovated second story condo (short two flight stairway only-no elevator) located in the wonderful Gatlinburg Summit Condos, minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park.
We have everything you need when you book our spacious 2 bedroom smoke-free condo. It sleeps six , and has a wood burning fireplace to enjoy during those chilly fall and winter evenings! Firewood is available for purchase (a small ‘cash only’ fee at the office).
Main bedroom has a comfortable king bed, closet with iron and ironing board, and full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Guest bedroom has comfortable queen bed and cozy window seat.
The condo is located close (but not too close) to the outdoor pool (closed during winter). A newly rebuilt indoor heated pool, with two heated hot tubs, is open year round. In the adjacent clubhouse is a small arcade for the kids, restrooms, soft drink machine, and a coin operated laundry room. Outside the clubhouse is a playground for the kids, and outdoor grille. Amazing views all around, and sometimes bears playing below.
From the Gatlinburg Summit you are surrounded by any number of things to see and do - hiking, skiing, shopping, sightseeing, fishing, biking, or just people watching.
Bring your kids, come with your significant other, or enjoy some "me" time. For a ‘home away from home’, this is the place to come!

Talon säännöt

The condo complex does not allow pets. If you bring a pet, you will have take the pet someplace else, or leave, with no refund.
Smoking is only allowed outside on the complex grounds. If the smell of smoke is detected inside by housekeeping, you will be charged $250.
Quiet hours set by complex management is 9 pm til 9 am. As we are not in the area, we are unable to control the actions of other guests.

The hosts were fantastic. They sent all the information for check-in well in advance. I was a little confused on the actual address of the condo, and they were very quick to respond. The road is a mountain road, for sure. Go slow. On a turn, if we saw another car approaching, we let them go so it was one through the turn at a time. Sometimes we couldnt, and it was still ok cause everyone was going slow! The beds were super comfy (nothing is more comfy than your own bed, ofc. But these were great) My son slept on the couch. It faces the ski resort, which he absolutely loved seeing! He claimed to have the best view. Our daughter slept in the second bedroom, she had a view of the mountians. She claimed she had the best view. My husband and I slept in the main bedroom, we had curtains that blocked out all the light, I maintain that we had the best view!Two small balconies were perfect for morning coffee or wine down evenings. It had everything we needed for our weekend vaca. We were there for Ober mountain, it took us 6 minutes to get there from the cabin. (Parking was 30 for the day so plan for that. We got there NLT 830am and parked at the first parking lot every time). Pigeon forge took about 20 minutes, and well worth the beautiful drive!There were plenty of towels and spare blankets. There were a few games to play together that we took part in. We would stay there again!

The host was great we had a beautiful stay beautiful place peaceful the only complaints we had was there were not enough towels for 6 people no dish soap ran out of soap in the showers Very minor things we just had to go to the local store or do a Walmart order :-) overall we had a great stay

Comfortable and clean.. Great view of Ober Mountain. As a flat lander, the road to the property (Summit) is white knuckle tense. Take your time and pay close attention. Only suggestion is replacing king mattress.

We had a wonderful stay! There were Christmas decorations to enjoy along with the tasteful décor, and the unit was a comfortable size for the five of us. The view is spectacular! It was so nice to have some spices and kitchen essentials (oil, sugar, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, etc.) available since it is a LONG way to any stores. If you are a light sleeper, be sure to have a sound machine or earplugs to block out the sounds of other people moving about above and the garbage truck in the early morning hours. Light blocking curtains have been added to the master bedroom, making it much less glaring from the street light just outside the window than if there weren't any at all. The heating system works quickly and efficiently. The water heater is large enough for 2-3 showers if bathers do not linger long.

The view is great, but just know it takes about 15 minutes to drive up from the street. If you plan to cook, I’d recommend bringing any baking or cooking dishes you’ll need. Also, the parking lot light shines directly into the master bedroom window, so the room never gets dark.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was very nice! My only suggestion would be black out shades/curtains for the master bedroom. We had to clip the curtains shut to block out as much of the security light as we could.

The owner knew the building was under construction with major work on the building. To enter the building we had to walk through scaffolding with workers over head. Paint was also getting sprayed so we could not park at the building. To our surprise when we open the blinds there was a worker on the scaffolding outside the window. We could smell the paint fumes inside and smoke from the workers. We questioned the owner about why we were not informed about the construction and at first he said he was not aware. Later he admitted he knew and said he gave us a discount because of it. All the similar units we looked at were also giving discount due to off season.The construction will be ongoing for some time. If you plan on renting here I would check on the status of the construction before hand. If I knew of the construction I would not have rented. It was not up to my expectations.

We’ve stayed at The Summit multiple times and this was one of the best condos. It was very clean and super impressed with the responsiveness of the owners to our questions. Would definitely stay here again. Supplied plenty of toilet paper, dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc.

Perfect vacation rental

Great value for Smoky Mountain vacation

The condo was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Location was beautiful. Pools were excellent. Check-in was seamless and easy. One thoughtful touch was that there was already ice ready in the freezer. Only minor complaint is the pillows on the bed were thin. We wound up using pillows from the couch as well. Everyone's taste there is different, so if you're driving, maybe bring your own pillows. Otherwise, an excellent place to stay above Gatlinburg!

Great location, comfortable stay!

Very nice, comfortable 2nd story condo for our family of 5. Inside was well furnished. Beds were comfortable. Good communication from owner. Right up the mountain from park! Making it a convenient drive. Kids used the 2 pools everyday. 1 of the 2 hot tubes was out of order and the other was not hot, but that can be fixed by management. Just note that the kitchen area, including the stove and oven, are on the smaller size if you are planning on doing a lot of cooking. We would certainly recommend this place!

Close enough to the strip but far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Great views, we saw a bear everyday we stayed even a mama bear and two cubs! Property is what to expect from the pictures shown. Be prepared to drive the mountain roads/hills!
