Perfect mountain getaway spot!

We were not disappointed with a single thing about this rental. We enjoyed the hot tub and privacy of bedrooms on different floors. The kitchen is well stocked (you might need a few extra dish cloths and towels if you hand wash dishes a lot). Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The upstairs king bed is quite firm and the bedroom stayed cool despite the hot weather. Jets in the bedroom jacuzzi didn’t work, which didn’t matter to us but you might want to be aware if that’s something you’re booking for. The road up the mountain and the driveway are very steep in places, but our loaded down Kia Sorento made it up and down several times. We saw numerous bears both on the property and roads up and down. The cabin has a partially obstructed view of the mountains across the valley, but you can’t really see downtown. The South Baden pool is just a couple minutes away and the teens really enjoyed the pool, tennis, and rec room. (Take quarters for games.). Truly nothing to complain about with this property. Would definitely stay again!

Bears everywhere!!!

Beautiful site with more amenities than are listed! Each bedroom is on a different floor so super private. We watched a bear climb into the neighbors hot tub and swim. Four bears checked out the BBQ pit that is 10-12’ from the door. A bear attempted to get into our vehicle and succeeded in getting into my daughter’s vehicle (no food or drinks were left in any vehicle). There were bears all around on our way to and from the cabin. We enjoyed watching them and still felt safe and kept our distance. The pools were clean and attendants were kind at the lodges. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, hot tub was spotless, bathrooms are very spacious, decor is great, very large deck space and great views. The driveway is VERY steep but was not an issue in our SUV’s. The sun shines in your eyes early in the bedrooms upstairs through the half moon windows. There were no blinds or window coverings so we put pillows on the ledge and that helped not to wake us too early. The downstairs is a fun place for gaming with plenty of comfy furniture to relax. The downstairs tv is for streaming only. Patio table and rockers were perfect for relaxing in the mornings with coffee. The kitchen is small but the layout was adequate and it was stocked nicely with all necessities. Ice maker didn’t appear to work but there was a bag of ice and ice trays. This was a great stay and we will return! Thank you!
