Located on the West shore of all-sports Manuka Lake, this freshly updated and fully equipped 3-bed, 2-bath home sits on half an acre of lakefront and is ready for activities year-round. Inside you will find oversized east-facing lakeview windows that provide gorgeous sunrise views and showcase the natural beauty of the lake and its wildlife. Starlink internet and smart TVs will keep you connected if you wish.

Enjoy the outdoors on the large deck, in the yard at the fire pit, or down on the beach. Lawn chairs, picnic tables, a grill, and some recreational equipment are provided. Enjoy quick access to public land and trail systems and just a 10-minute drive to downtown Gaylord.

For winter activities, the lake freezes well and is popular for ice fishing, ice skating, and snowmobiling. There are 100s of miles of readily accessible snowmobile trails in the area, both heading into Gaylord and out towards Waters and Mancelona. Multiple ski resorts are within a 40 mile radius, offering skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, and various winter activities.

For summer activities, the house comes with a dock, paddle-board, 2 adult kayaks, (child kayaks available upon request), paddle boat, life jackets, beach towels, inflatable tubes, and three fishing poles. This is a great lake for fishing! There is a public boat launch about a quarter mile north of the house. The house is equipped with AC.

We offer a quick and easy check out process - no doing all the work of the cleaner!

Situated centrally on the lake, the cottage offers views and fabulous access to open water. Come explore the lake and all the activities northern Michigan has to offer, and stay for the comforts and conveniences of cottage life. Pets are welcome!

We enjoyed staying at your cozy and quiet lakeside cottage. Hosts anticipated all basic needs and we appreciated use of the kayaks and simple check out policies. We could have used some instructions on accessing the tv, but used our own youtube account so all was well. Loved the coffee bar but would suggest a coffee pot with automatic turnoff. Overall, it was an awesome family weekend in your beautifully decorated and updated cottage!

Very relaxing and quiet lake and beds were extremely comfortable. It was very nice to have a washer and dryer also and a great location to cover all the upper cities in Michigan on day trips. Unfortunately we did not get to use all the kayaks and paddle board but I am sure in the summer months it is a great asset.

The property description was very accurate. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, utensils etc. The lake is great for kayaking and we used a couple of the kayaks provided along with our own. We enjoyed the fire pit roasting marshmallows and watched the stars come out every night. A very nice, quiet spot not far from other lakes and Gaylord.

Our group had a nice time at this home. We had a decent size group with young children. The kids loved the sand box and all the toys that were available to use. We utilized the kayaks that were provided which was nice to explore the lake. The kitchen had alot of appliances that made it easy to have dinner ready (crock pot etc).

Cozy weekend getaway

Definitely one of my favorite experiences at a vacation rental! The place was clean, homey and exactly as advertised. Lots of cute little touches. Loved how quiet the surrounding area is- perfect for relaxing. Lake/beach was clean and serene. Hosts were quick and effective communicators leading up to our arrival and we had literally no issues during our stay. I hope we will make it back next summer! Would love to stay again.

Warm, Cozy & Relaxing Winter Getaway

Weekend getaway

Our family had a relaxing week at your lake home. Did lots of fishing and caught northern, bass and some nice blue gill. Beautiful home on a beautiful lake. We will definitely plan a return trip next year.

The cottage was a cute space to enjoy a relaxing weekend on the lake. Everything was clean, spacious and lots of amenities were included. The neighbors were all friendly and it was great to bring our larger dog. Would definitely stay there again.

Great for families

This property had it all. We stayed with our adult children and their spouses as well as 2 dogs. The house was clean and comfortable with everything needed for a fun weekend at the lake. We made use of the kayaks, paddleboat, paddle board, and small rowboat. The lake was clean and sandy. We loved the fire pit for night time relaxation. Location was good. First floor bedroom a plus. We visited Hartwick pines state park and drove to Bellaire to go to Short's brewery. We had a minor problem that the owner took care of very quickly. Communication with owner was excellent. We will definitely love to stay again.
