Place was nice, the water view from our room was excellent!!! There was a wedding our 1st night there and since we had a room right on the lake we got all the noise from the reception and the music was blaring, and it went on until around 1 am, which was very disappointing, especially for the price we paid to stay there. The hotel should respect the others that are staying there as well.

Below standard for a Wyndham. One of only two elevators were down so getting to and from our room was not a great experience. The bed was super low to the floor and very uncomfortable. We could not get the room temp to adjust so we went from 80 on the thermostat down to 57 during the night. On the plus, good water pressure. The night before we stayed in Canandaigua in a Microtel Wyndham. It was a bit better experience. The hotel was spotless, the staff very accommodating but breakfast was nothing to write home about and the bed was again terribly uncomfortable. Sorry to say I’m be very hesitant to book another Wyndham.

Once upon a time at a hotel…. When you walk into the lobby, it’s inviting and staff is friendly. However, that’s where it ends. There is a broken elevator and looking at past reviews, it’s been down for at least a month. Our room… we had a lake view as we requested. That was nice.. but now the story goes south. Room was dirty. Very limited towels and wash cloths. All the furniture had a layer of dust. The bathroom… I wish there was a place to add pictures. But let me say gross. They have in the shower and on the wall near sink, metal wall containers with soap, lotion, shampoo… they are so dirty and rusted! The bathroom floor was dirty and to top it off, in the morning there was mice droppings on the bathroom counter. We always read reviews before booking a hotel and we truly are amazed that so many people commented on how clean and nice their room is. Maybe they hit the wine trail 1st before checking in and didn’t notice! For us, we will not be staying here again. As for the outside property.. it was ok. Plenty of parking. If you are ok with bird feathers and poop all over your car, walking areas and patio.. then sure, this is for you. Only good thing I can honestly say is staff was nice. The end.

I have stayed here 2x this time the room was much nicer than last time. Clean, with a nice big TV. Seemed like the cleaned the hallway and spruced the place up a bit since the year previous. Still a strange smell in the hallway though.

Room was clean with everything I needed. Comfortable beds, pillows and linens. They are making improvements which is great but that means construction in the building. Water dispenser was not working . Front desk person was great and ran and got me hot water for tea when it ran out.

One elevator not working, long waits. Busy signals when I called guess services. Laundry machine not working. Guess services, which didn’t exist, could have informed me of the laundry location and that the washer was not working but I waited at elevators carrying laundry around to find it was a total waste of time. No continental breakfast. Restaurant on site $15-20. for breakfast.

The hotel was 'ok'. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Our King Size bedroom was adequate. Wish the refrigerator had a freezer section. The restaurant was out of steak (not sure how that happens at 6:00 pm in the evening). It also doesn't allow substitutions (i.e. change brussel sprouts for broccoli). That being said the food we did eat was very good. One of the two elevators was not working, which made the wait longer.The pool was not accessible for maintenance. It was very small and green.

Bathroom: toilet paper holder falling off the wall. Grout was dirty. Caulk was poorly maintained and installed. Shower head was held into position by a bandaid. Outdated shower enclosure. Poorly lighted. Tiny bar of soap so we went into town to buy some. Bedroom, when you paint you take down curtain as not to get paint on it, linen was no as clean as expected. Chargers didn’t work. It’s a very outdated setup. The view was nice but when you pay a lot of kk why to rent a room, you expect better quality. Only a single elevator operated. My dinnner salad had little flavor. Sometime food is so good you don’t want to eat outside the hotel. We ventured out. The curiosity coffee was ok. Sorry for a bad review but I’d never stay there again.
