Disliked: Cleanliness
Please do your family a favor, and just don’t.
From first impressions, all the way until we were checking out, this place continued to disappoint and disgust us. I had to resort to hosing my 1 year old down outside like a dog because I refused to put her into any of the showers. There is what looks like black mold in both of the guest bathrooms and you are in standing water, with black specs coming up from the drain, as you shower. The house was filthy when we got here. Absolutely no way it’s been cleaned for awhile. I also felt like the bedding wasn’t clean. The bedroom that has the double bunk beds also has what looks like the HVAC/water system just out in the open, with a sharp metal base right next to beds. Perfect for little kids, or adults, to cut their feet on. The oven had two broken burners on it. The fridge light was out. With the overall dirty theme across this house, we didn’t feel comfortable drinking the water from the fridge. Which we couldn’t do anyways because the water stream was basically dribbles coming out. My family wanted to meet up here for a family reunion and spend the 4th of July together, and if it wasn’t for the fact that we all drove 10 hours and there was 8 adults and 1 infant, basically making us feel stuck, we would have left the night we arrived. Instead we felt forced to stick around just to spend some time together and the entire time we were just overall grossed out. I 100% believe they are making fake reviews to hide how bad this place is. Please don’t book.
