Cabin with sauna and fire pit

This black-stained wooden cabin, built in 2019, is located in a quiet area with other cabins nearby, about 300 meters from the fjord, with a road leading all the way to the front door. It is winter-insulated and equally comfortable year-round. A sauna with a wood-burning stove and a private fire pit with a grill area make your stay more than just an ordinary cabin vacation.



Inside, the walls are clad in white-stained plywood, the floors are gray ceramic tiles with underfloor heating in every room, and large windows let in plenty of natural light. The living room has a wood-burning stove, and dry birch firewood is included in the rent. The cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen-dining room, and a bathroom.



To the west is a large terrace with a permanent outdoor dining table that seats about eight people. To the east is a terrace bathed in morning sun; both have direct access from the kitchen through glass doors. In the firehouse, you can sit under a roof and grill or enjoy the warmth of the fire, both in summer and winter.



Storvika, with its sandy beach and swimming opportunities, is about a 10-minute drive from the cabin and offers a hiking trail, a store, and a restaurant in the summer. The art project “Den Glømda Staden” is about a 3-minute drive away, and Hornneset near Reipå is a popular outdoor recreation area about a 20-minute drive away. Ørnes, the municipal center of Meløy, is about a 30-minute drive away and has shops, a liquor store, and a pharmacy.
