The concept of the hotel is great with work spaces useful for remote workers (even if primarily for local groups renting the facilities), it’s exceptionally clean and has great facilities including a decent gym. It feels safe if you need to do laundry or fit in a late workout with 24hour reception, and it’s located in a fantastic area - right in the centre of everything. The hotel is only let down by some rude staff and the new bar playing thumping music until 1am which can be heard from the floors right beneath - not what you expect at this type of hotel.

We wanted to love this property, but the staff ruined it. The eclectic vibes were what attracted us; however, the rudeness from the staff was so overwhelming that we 100% would never stay here again. My husband and I arrived to the hotel at approximately 1:00am. We talked to reception and understood that check-in was at 3pm, but were informed to check in every hour to see if a room was ready. We walked to the Cathedral and toured for a few hours. When we came back at approximately 1:30, I asked reception if anything was available and again was told 3pm. Five minutes later my husband went to get our bags from reception, he spoke with a young black woman this time. He flagged me over and we instantly had a room. My husband was disheartened because he felt like it took him speaking to another black individual to be received politely and respectfully and to be allowed a slightly early checkin. For a hotel that brags about having 87 different nationalities working at your hotel, you surely dropped the ball on equality. We will not be returning.
