Welcome to “After Dune Delight,” a newly renovated Crystal Riverfront cottage nestled in the heart of Sleeping Bear Dunes. 5 bedrooms & 2.5 bath with two open-concept kitchens, indoor and outdoor dining areas, fireplaces, hot tub and five kayaks provided for guest use, this home is designed for comfort, connection, and adventure. It’s just a short float or walk to Lake Michigan or downtown Glen Arbor—ideal for families and friends seeking a memorable Northern Michigan escape.
We are Pet-friendly! Pet fee is $250 per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs 50 lbs each are allowed. Please let us know if you are bringing a fur friend so that we may get your pet amenities prepared for your arrival. We try our best to keep hair and allergens away, but guests with dog sensitivities should be aware. Please use our provided sofa cover and `retired` towels for your fur friends. Booking guests will be responsible for any pet damage.
Please Note: Quiet hours begin at 10pm, and no unauthorized parties are allowed to ensure a peaceful neighborhood setting.

Step outside to the veranda or backyard and unwind in Adirondack chairs by the river or around the outdoor fire pit. The dock extends into Crystal River, offering a serene spot for morning coffee or sunset views.
Our cottage is right on Crystal River, a short distance from Lake Michigan. The property is shaded with trees and often there is a nice breeze blowing. AC is provided by the 5 minisplit units in the property, they are in all 4 bedrooms and 1 in the main living space upstairs. Each bedroom also features a ceiling fan, with the exception of the loft.
Hot Tub Access: The hot tub is available for guest use—please enjoy it responsibly and at your own risk. All posted rules must be followed at all times. Failure to follow hot tub guidelines that results in misuse requiring draining, cleaning, and refilling will incur a $325 service fee.

- Check-in/out: Please note during our peak season (June-September) we discourage late check-outs and early check-ins due to the tight turn-around schedules of our cleaning teams. We are happy to allow for an early check-in or late check-out if our cleaning team is able to accommodate the request and still allow the rental to be cleaned to our quality standards and specifications. All early check-ins and late check-outs will be charged a $250.00 additional fee for this expedited service. We are able to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs during our off season (October-May) for a reduced fee of $100.00, please contact us for further information.
- Longer stays: Please be aware guest stays longer than 10-days will require mid-stay cleaning. Mid-stay cleaning fees are the same amount as the fee charged during booking. A weekly cleaning and linen/towel exchange is required for long-term guest stays, short-term guest stays may request a mid-stay cleaning for an extra fee.
- Security deposit: Please note that 3 days before check in time, we will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $1500 on your card. This hold verifies fund availability and covers potential incidental expenses during your stay. The hold will be released 7 days within check-out, pending no outstanding charges or damages. Your privacy and security are paramount, and all card information is handled confidentially.
- Cancellations: Please check the cancellation policy on your booking platform. Please note that even if you are eligible for a full refund, a credit card processing fee will be deducted.

*Please note that violation of any of these rules is considered a breach of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The owner reserves the right to evict any guests or visitors who refuse to follow these house rules. The violation of house rules may result in deductions from the security deposit or other penalties.
Child Safety: Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times.
Safety & Energy Saving: Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises.
Report any damages and/or breakages immediately.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Smoking or burning candles are not allowed inside the home. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.
Please do not wear shoes inside the house. Please turn off any electronics when you leave the house.
Visitors & Noise:
No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 13 people. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Third parties are not welcome, and the place is for guests only. Quiet time after 10 p.m. Please refrain from making noises past 10 p.m. to respect our neighbors. NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED.
Pets: Dogs are permitted in the house. Please declare your pets to us ahead of checking in and settle any pet related fees. Pets fees are $250 up to two pets. Please clean up after your fur friends and use the provided retired towels to clean your dogs. Please do not let your dogs venture into the neighbor’s yards during their walks.
Hot Tub: The hot tub is available for your enjoyment, please use it responsibly and at your own risk. To access the hot tub, please contact management for the key. All posted hot tub rules must be followed at all times. If the hot tub is misused or rules are not followed, resulting in the need for draining, cleaning, and refilling, a $325 service fee will apply.
Housekeeping: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We will be happy to help arrange additional cleaning during your stay for a fee. If you run out of clean linens (sheets/pillow cases) and towels etc., you are welcome to use the laundry facility to replenish them. PLEASE do not wipe any food, oils, or lotions on the linens. Please use the kitchen towels (paper or cloths) for their intended purposes.
We provide black make-up towels and cotton pads for removing makeup. If our other towels are stained or bleached during your stay, we will charge a $15 replacement fee for each towel.
Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager will not assume responsibility for illness or injury that guest(s) may incur while on the property. Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager, is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or property of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the responsibility of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other people they invite to this property (per owner’s approval). Owner has the right to ask guest(s) to leave the property if these rules are violated. If legal action is taken against guest(s), the at fault party will be responsible for all law suits/lawyer fees. Any violation of these rules could result in you being charged your security deposit and/or legal action taken. Call 911 if there is an emergency and then call the host.
Pets:
We have the following rules for our guests with pets or Assistance Animals. This ensures that both your stay, and that of our guests after you, will be enjoyable and relaxing.
