Room was clean but the bed was like sleeping on the floor. We checked out after one night and we wernt offered another room or cashback, a sorry would have helped. The room was C19. We stay there frequesntly and although the bbeds aren't the best, this was by far the worst. Needs replacing.

The gentleman on reception saturday night was very helpful and patient with us. We had a ground floor room out in the courtyard area, which was clean and tidy. The young man in the bar area saturday morning, took our luggage and stored it until later, as we were leaving for Cheltenham in the morning, so we didnt chrck in til 5pm… he was very nice too, and again helpful!

Stayed with my wife, the hotel was ran by one man who was very busy but super friendly and very helpful. He would go above and beyond for us. The hotel itself needs some TLC it's a bit cluttered and untidy. The room was clean and what we needed but the drainage in the shower was really bad.

No onsite parking although 2 pay and display car parks directly behind the hotel. We were kindly upgraded to a family room which was spacious and had crockery, cutlery and glasses plus a microwave. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Less than 5 minute walk to restaurants and Gloucester Quays and 10 minute walk to the cathedral.
