Staying at Synergy Broadbeach for about the 4th time and once again had a great time. The only downside was they had the window washers in and we could not use the pool until 3pm. Ordered a 2 bedroom ocean view room, which we got and on the 24th floor. The pleasent surprise was, we got an extra bedroom (sort of) which came in handy so my Mum did not have to share a room with my Daughter. The extra room however has no door and pretty much connected to the kitchen, but still was great to have that extra option.

The two bedroom apartment on a high floor was in great condition with everything that was promised, it even had detergent for the washing machine. We were impressed by the "magnesium" swimming pool on site. I forgot to say, it was clean and value for money. It's at an ideal location near the Broadbeach North tram and a short walk to pacific fair shopping centre. Staff were friendly and professional. Our after hours check-in was no problem. If there was a negative it's the hold of a couple of hundred on the credit card for the bond that may take some time to clear, but that's not unusual.

Room was very dirty, plates and cups were still dirty in the cupboard. Shower in the 2nd bathroom leaked badly. No face washers provided. Stains on coffee table and curtains. Staff were very attentive in fixing the problems

Great value and location

Lovely magnesium heated pool. Hot jacuzzi with great bubbles. Plenty of onsite secure parking. Lovely 2BR apartment with plenty of amenities and well equipped. Excellent condition. Whole building is well looked after. Location is perfect. 2 min walk to all the best of Broadbeach.

Rooms good, service not so much

Room was good, bed was not. Advertised as a king bed, but it was two single beds pushed together, which is fairly uncomfortable. I asked the staff to provide the bed advertised, they did nothing. When I asked again two days later, they complained and said "that's what you get" and that they don't have double, queen or king mattresses. They then put a mattress topper on which helped, but then gave snarky comments the next day in the lobby.

The location was great and perfect for our stay. Amazing views and walking distance to beach, tram and shops/restaurants. Good sized, clean apartment. Did get some noise from the road even on 24th floor! There were some minor maintenance issues, like repairing blinds and a loose door handle that would have made the apartment go from good to great!

Didn't like: Instructions for the internet are not correct. The fact that the beds only had a bottom and top sheet on them, no quilt/blankets. The apartment was very noisy all day and all night (to be expected being on the main road, but didn't expect so much noise, especially during the night). But mostly didn't like the fact that the maintenance man knocked on the door to fix the broken blind and as I was unpresentably dressed to answer the door, he unlocked the door and walked in anyway. Maybe a quick ring on the mobile to let me know he was coming to fix the blind next time.

Bit disappointed with the stay. Wasnt informed about the pool not being operational certain time of the morning. We had crocaraches crawling on the main bed and all over the floors especially at night. Living room and main ensuite. Too much noise from the surroundings especially early morning. Wont back come again.
