This Baymont location has really gone down hill since my last visit several years ago. When I arrived at 4PM, I could not check in because the rooms were still being cleaned. An hour later I got into my room. SMALL room. It was dirty. Walls covered in black smudge marks, drapes filthy, furniture was beat up and the drywall was cracking due to water damage. There was a gap of at least 1/2 inch below the room door and the ground. Wind, insects, even a rodent could have crawled under the door! (Ground level door leading directly to exterior parking area) Flimsy door lock as well, providing so little security that I moved a desk to block the door from opening. The breakfast the next day at 7AM was a case of most items being out of stock. Pancake machine did not work. The only positive notes were that the room did not smell bad, the bed was decent & linens were clean. Much better hotels in Flagstaff. I do not plan on returning to this Baymont Inn.

The staff was super helpful in getting a couple if minor problems issues taken care of very quickly. Our only complaint was having mushy down pillows rather than foam or another firmer material. Otherwise, no complaints.

Breakfast was just what you need with a few different options. Property has been renovated but attention to detail is lacking in places (5 yr old may have done the painting of the door frames!). Rooms were quiet and larger than avwrage. Good pool area. A number of food options nearby to cater for all tastes.

We had a reservation at Quality Inn down the street and we wouldn't stay there because it was filthy and noisy and full of really questionable people, so I used Expedia and booked Baymont for a last minute booking. We were very pleased to be able to get a booking there.

Quiet, pool and hot tub nice and clean, beds comfy but one of the beds was very loud. Hair dryer in room was broken, AC in room was not functioning properly, extremely hot in breakfast area, lack of food choice for breakfast, room keys kept getting deactivated for no reason. We would stay here again as long as above mentioned issues were at least somewhat rectified.

Definitely do not expect friendly staff here. Checking in and checking both, both times staff seemed like guests were interrupting their down time. The first room I was out in was dirty, the walls under the sink had yellowish brown stuff dripping down it, the wallpaper clearly came off and they cut a piece and sloppily nailed it over the damage. The big thing was a giant spider came crawling out from under the sink and the floor had ants on it, when I went to the front desk to ask for a new room, she asked if she could inspect the room first as if I was lying about it. She seemed annoyed I didn’t want to stay in a room with ants on the floor. The room she put me in was much nicer and cleaner on the third floor. The breakfast was self-serve, cereal, waffle maker, basic hotel breakfast, nobody there to assist yet there was a tip jar out. The new room they put me in was nicer but I would not stay here again.
