This place is a gem. If you are looking for the route 66 experience, this is it. Clean rooms, decorated with care, and pets stay free! In fact, our room had a blanket, food, and water bowls, and mat just for our dog. The owners and staff were very friendly and we had a good time chatting with them. The coffee set up in the room was great, too, with real ceramic mugs. Next time we drive Route 66, this is where we will stay.

My stay at Southwest Motel was fantastic! The room was clean and the couple managing the property (who checked me in) are super nice, kind, and helpful. It was an added bonus staying in a classic, retro, iconic Historic Route 66 motel! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great Little place. Looked to have been recently updated . Drip coffee in the room, clean and comfortable. Owners were super nice and showed us to our rooms. Would absolutely stay here again.
