Meanwhile, four air-conditioned double bedrooms promise restful nights with luxury mattresses, two on the upper floor with their own private bathroom spaces, two downstairs on the pool level alongside a fifth bedroom with bunk beds.

In the heart of the Var region, it’s around a 10-minute drive to the hilltop village of Grimaud (5km). Winding cobbled streets, flower-draped stone houses and panoramic views over the bay make this medieval village an irresistible retreat. At its summit, the ruined château presides over a patchwork of vineyards and woodland, whispering tales of the past with every breeze. Pick up fruit, vegetables, flowers and other regional delights at the Provençal market on a Thursday morning.


Just a short drive in the other direction, the vibrant waterfront enclave of Port Grimaud (4km) unveils a striking contrast. Villa Joyau accommodates up to 8 guests plus 2 additional children across four double bedrooms and one children’s bedroom with a bunkbed. A cot and a highchair can be requested in advance, subject to a €50 additional charge.

No. There is an extra charge of £300, payable to the owner via Oliver's Travels. If staying for more than one week, there is an additional charge of £150 for a mid-stay clean. This is for a standard changeover clean. Guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
