This is your private retreat for the duration of your stay -- full run of the house. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. Gualala is a charming coastal village on the Mendocino-Sonoma border, known for its art galleries, excellent restaurants, and access to stunning beaches. Gualala Point Regional Park is a short drive away with river kayaking, beach access, and bluff trails.



Getting Around:

Wake up to gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean through the trees, take long, leisurely drives along a spectacular stretch of California Highway 1, and watch unforgettable sunsets from the Point Arena Lighthouse 16 miles north. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.

Whale watching season runs from December through April -- grab the binoculars and watch for gray whale spouts from your window. Spring wildflowers (April-June) blanket the coastal headlands and the banks of the Gualala River with vibrant color. Summer on the Mendonoma Coast (June-September) means warm days and the occasional morning fog that burns off by lunch.
