The staff is amazing all the time. The facilities need some arrangements, for example mi TV could'nt work properly, my AC could'nt work properly. Its an old but amazing hotel. But I insist, the staff amazing!!! The restaurant serves everything delicious. The castle is really close to the center of Guanajuato.

As we were walking towards our room, we hear estrange/scary noises in the hallway. When we entered the room we saw 2 big cockroaches, the toilet did not work. We went back to the reception and requested another room (reception staff was kind).This room was hot and the A/C wasn’t working. The towels were dirty. We decided to leave the property and look for another decent hotel. Finally,found one, by then, it was the middle of the night.

This was actually my first time staying at this hotel because I believed it was of good quality. which is especially difficult when you have a one-year-old baby. My room had cockroaches. They did give us another room, but it was small and the blankets were stained. The water of the shower was leaking the a/c unit was not working.

The castle is so beautiful. The scenery is breathtaking. The mattress are good but the bed frame needs to tighten up as it makes lots of noise. The restaurant staff is very helpful and friendly but the food isn’t good.

The property, the castle on the outside, is gorgeous. the grounds are well maintained and the greenery is beautiful. BUT, the inside needs A LOT of work, at least in our room; the bathroom has had some repairs that were left visible & still needs more, the towels were once white but not anymore, the sheets & bedspreads were discolored, the floors were not clean, the furniture was falling apart....so sad because the outside was beautiful and the staff was so nice. Just needs some TLC in the rooms.

The outside of the castle is really beautiful m. But the rooms and interiors are really gross, dirty and nasty. We are moved three times and just one night, the first room have a nasty big blood stain on the sheets, the second room have a lot of hair on the bed, and the last one have a spiders. The only reason why stay that night is because was very late

This property was not ok to stay in. Room was very dirty. Hotel would not refund me due to the conditions of room. Bathroom floors were dirty and shower head. Also curtains were broken and torn. Dressers were broken. Also this property is in an unsafe location. After talking with locals they said not to stay at location. So I checked out and management would not offer refund. The restaurant at this location is horrible. Please don’t stay here.

Unfortunately the property is quite run down. The walls are still beautiful the toilets don't really flush and I would not walk into the shower as base was not clean. Only one restaurant with limited menu and if you would like an beverage with alcohol they had one beer. Beautiful building facade but falling apart.. we left after one night of a 4 night booking. So sad as we were looking forward to it.
