Our second time in Gulf Shores. We loved our condo, it had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the splash pad and pool. The balcony view of the beach was beautiful. Our condo was very clean.

Our overall stay was great! There were a few things I reported that were maintenance issues that were not addressed while we were there. The lack of communication about the problems being resolved during the stay could have been better. Since they never were fixed.

This unit needs lots of attention! Many light bulbs were out. Things were unplugged, leaving us to think it didn't work, until we messed with it (which we shouldn't have to do ad a guest). Dirty dishes (coffee mugs, glasses, bake ware) in cabinets! We had to clean them before using them. Dirty shower liner with hair all on it. Stains all over the couch cushions. Outdated, flat pillows for the couch and chairs. Needs more comfortable seating for holding up to 8 people. Wires exposed behind light switches and on a lamp in the living room. NEEDS NEW CEILING FANS! All of them made noises and moved, like they were going to fall. They're also limp, and Dirty. Dirty, dusty ceiling in the master bath. Horrible mattresses! Theyre so uncomfortable...

Great!!!

I read a lot of reviews about so many places and the one thing that stuck with me about this one was someone complained that it was outdated, ignore that review!! Yes some of the bedding was older but it was clean and kept me covered comfortably!! If you want brand new and more perfect go to a motel. I was able to make it in the water within minutes or I could sit on the balcony. It was everything I had hoped for. Thank you VRBO

Would not recommend

The view and location are great. The condo is not. We stayed for 8 nights. Dishes in cabinet were dirty. Pulled a bowl out and it looked like it had cake mix stuck to it. Lazy Susan cabinets had crumbs and food particles. Food (chef cereal) on tv console. Rug was dirty. Drapes were old and had large holes in them. Railing on balcony felt very loose and unsafe. No blanket (just light coverlet) on master bed. No broom in condo. Toilet in master bath leaking from cut off valve. Had to put a bowl underneath to catch water and had to empty bowl into toilet every few hours to keep floor dry. Patio furniture looked like it had been picked up off the side of the road. Random old plastic Adirondack chairs. A couple of straight hard back chairs, table had paint halfway peeled off. Two other old chairs. Nothing matched. 2 out of 3 calls to management went unanswered. I’ve stayed at Seawind for the past 9 years in many nice condos, but this one was not. Just avoid.

Pool restrooms

We used the pool restrooms and the bleach or clorin smell was so bad you couldn’t breathe. My husband is a firefighter and he said it was dangerous. It was all over the floors. Other than that it was very nice and we would come back. Thank you

Dirty and property not described accurately

The condo is in much need of an upgrade. Couch, bedding, w/d, and bathrooms. Was not cleaned well, very dirty and dishes were put back in cabinets dirty. Balcony needs new furniture and a good cleaning. While we liked the location of the property , the pool situation is terrible! Should be disclosed that there is not a real pool but a kiddie pool and what is supposed to be a pool at adjoining property is nothing bigger than a postage stamp. I could go on and on but best thing was it was next door to Sea&Suds.

Where is the maintenance crew?

Called twice about broken and missing items in the condo. Someone helped with the mixed up Dishnet remotes. No one came to fix the closet door that fell off, abd was proped up in the 2nd bedroom the entire week (safety issue), the broken sliding door handle, broken light switches. No hair dryer in the unit. Unit was not ready at check in time. Seemed like poorly made furniture in general in the unit. Rented because of large porch. Furniture on porch plastic or rusted, or worn out. Will not rent this unit again. Not a good value.

Location is great!

The location is wonderful and the condo was nice all except of the mold on the ceiling in between the hall bathroom and guest room and in BOTH bathrooms. For the amount we paid to stay here, that is a disgrace.

Friends spring break getaway

My friends and I enjoyed a few days from everyday work and stress. Enjoyed being right on the beach - quick easy access in and out of condo unit. We have stayed at Seawinds before and enjoyed our stay. The only issue we experienced was the elevator from time to time. Will stay here again.

Loved this property, LOVED 😍 ❤️ both bedrooms had there own OCEANFRONT balcony, close to lots.

Very nice, only suggestion, maybe to have guest leave coffee filters, trash bags, toilet paper. We left all these for the next quest.
