The first room they put me in was horrible-there were bugs on the carpet-unacceptable (this room definitely needs to be remodeled). I was moved to the second floor (ironically, I asked for the second floor and supposedly nothing was available, and then all of a sudden I was checked in to the second floor). IF I ever return, I’ll stay at Holiday Inn.

Wonderful 5 nights. Decent breakfast, comfy bed, thin walls, so if kids running up and down you heard it all. No elevator.

It was pretty outdated. The space in the room was nice. There was a dead bug in one of the beds, though. Breakfast was meager, but we were fed so it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall not my favorite place to stay.

A bit dated (as are many hotels in Gunnison) but clean, comfy bed, nice breakfast and wonderful staff! They have a very nice outdoor area with chairs, fire pit, BBQ, and games. This is also a great place to stay if you’re traveling with dogs!

Do not book

For a hotel that is rated 9.0 stars we were shocked to find our unkept room smelling like weed and in terrible condition. The sheets were dirty with stains and dirt/ crumbs in multiple layers of the bedding. We also noticed what appeared like dog scratches on the door and just worn out feeling of the room. We immediately called front desk staff and canceled our reservation and went to a different hotel. We were told it would be fully refundable, but still waiting to hear back. I can not recommend.
