Luxury Cozy Vineyard -mökki: 'The Grape Escape' lähellä Halesworth & Southwold

Cabin-in-the-Vines sijaitsee 8 hehtaarin viinitarhan sydämessä Suffolkin maaseudun idyllisessä nurkassa. On vain yksi mökki, joten se on yksinomaan 2 hengelle nauttia ja rentoutua. Se on muodoltaan jättiläinen viinitynnyri, tehty puusta ulkoisesti ja sisäisesti. Eristys on Walesin lampaan villaa, ja itse asiassa ohjaamo suunniteltiin ja valmistettiin käsin Walesissa. Se on sähköverkon ulkopuolella, ja sitä saavat huipputekniset aurinkopaneelit, ja akkuihin varastoitua energiaa voidaan seurata ohjaamon sisällä.

Tervetuloa jääkaapissa olevaan ilmaiseen jäähdytettyyn viinipulloon! Mökissä on viihtyisä makuuhuone, jossa parivuode. Jaetut ovet on suunniteltu siten, että viiniköynnösten näkymät voidaan nauttia makuuhuoneesta. Siellä on jonkin verran säilytys- ja roikkuvaa tilaa.

Makuuhuoneen ikkunasta on näkymä rajoittamattomaan yötaivaaseen. Kylpyhuoneessa on suihku, WC, pesuallas ja pyyhekuivain. Tärkeimmässä elintilassa on keittiö yhdessä osassa (liesi, uuni, jääkaappi, pesuallas ja drainer, astiat, ruokailuvälineet, valikoima keittiöastioita ja -välineitä sekä kaappivarasto). Peseytyminen on todellinen nautinto näkymästä ikkunasta!
Siellä on mukavat istuimet, ruokailutila, TV (DVD), radio. Lämmitys tekee ohjaamosta myös ihanteellisen 12 kuukaudeksi vuodeksi!

Hyväksymme yhden hyvin käyttäytyvän koiran hintaan 20 puntaa ylimääräistä oleskelua kohti.

Siellä on ylellisyyttä, eikä laajakaistaa ..
Huomaa, että viinitarhan pysäköintialueelta matkustamoon on 100 metrin kävelymatka, joten matkatavaroitasi varten on paikallaan kottikärry. Mökin etuosaan johtaa myös portaita. Mökki on melko yksinäinen eikä katuvaloja ole, joten kokeile saapua päivänvalossa, jos mahdollista. Jos ei, muista tuoda taskulamppu! Saapumisaika klo 15–19 (ellei ennakkotilauksesta).

Jos haluat lähteä viinitilasta (!), tämä osa Suffolkin on Waveney Valley ja kaunis maa kävely / pyöräily / rentoutua. Kävelymatkan päässä on 2 pubia - lähempänä varastossa Vineyard-viiniä! Olet 10 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Halesworthin kaupunkikaupungista, joka on huomattava kaupunki, ja siellä on hienoja ruokia, taidegalleria ja taiteen keskus monipuolisella ohjelmalla. 10 mailia kauempana itään, Latitude-tapahtumapaikka, Southwold ja Walberswick 'eilen' viehätysvoimansa ovat helposti saavutettavissa. Reitti 1 Cycleway on lähellä ja Beccles ja Bungay ovat tutkimuksen arvoisia. Oulton Broad -väylä Broadsin kansallispuistoon on 40 minuuttia pohjoiseen.

Liikkuminen-Halesworth on junayhteydellä Ipswichiin ja yhteydet Lontooseen; toinen tapa Lowestoftiin, jossa yhteys voidaan muodostaa Norwichiin. Jos haluat varata taksin tai Uberin esimerkiksi Latitudelle, tee varaus etukäteen. Halesworthista Southwoldiin on linja-auto, numero 23. OS-kartta tai -sovellus on hyödyllinen harkittaessa pyöräily- / kävelytutkimusta.

Mökki on itse sisäänkirjautuva (tarkista itsesi lukituslaatikolla).
Tämä mökki sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Valley Farm Vineyards. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi keittiön ja parvekkeen.

Idyllic

Cute little cabin but all you need for a short stay. Very quiet, great for dog walks. Our dog would give it 6 stars. It was so relaxing to sit out on the veranda sipping wine as the sun set. Halesworth is a nice town with an EV charger at the coop and Southwold is just a short dìstance away. Our only issue was the road to the property is closed with a long detour, when approaching from the west but despite the signage it is accessible from the Halesworth direction.

A great find

My partner & I wanted a a quiet relaxing weekend away and found this property by chance but so glad we did. Accommodation set in vineyards and away from everything although a great location for surrounding areas, Southwold, Walberswick, Beccles and more. Check in - very easy. We received communication confirming key code and that was it - smooth and easy Check out - returned key to box and again that was it. Accommodation - cozy & warm and perfect for a romantic weekend away. Kitchen was perfectly sized for requirements and shower/ toilet room was also perfect. The sleeping area was fine and bed was very comfortable. I can only give this review 10/10 as no faults can be found. I fully expect us to return again one day

Peace and quiet amongst the vines

The Grape Escape is a fabulous little hideaway tucked away in the corner of the vineyard. We has a lovely quiet 2 night stay, the cabin is equipped with everything you need. Adrian came to say hello, but apart from one of his workers and a tour group that passed by we didn’t see a soul. Will definitely be back.

Perfect ‘get away from it all’ break. We were blessed with good weather but aside from that cannot fault the accommodation and location. If you want a quiet, peaceful time and somewhere a little ‘different’ then this place is perfect. Lots of nice walks in the countryside and close to places like Halesworth and Southwold. Definitely consider going back.

Peaceful, rejuvenating stay in tucked away haven

A really beautiful little cabin which was nicer inside that the impression I got from the photos. Lovely smell of wood, plenty of space, well-placed velux windows to the skies, and I like that the bedroom had doors, making the place feel like a little home rather than a glamping pod. It felt magical to wake up on a warm summer's day and look over the dew-laden grass and grapevines. So peaceful. Just the sounds of nature and their rich habitat. A highlight of my stay was witnessing a glow worm one evening. Although the cabin is rural and fairly remote I felt safe. Lovely walks close by, and the 45 min walk into local Harleston to pick up some milk and croissants (I treated myself to an extra day) from the delis there was very pleasant. Adrian was a kind and welcoming host, and I'd happily stay at the cabin again :)

A great retreat

A most wonderful log cabin named the Grape Escape set in a vineyard offering real tranquility. There is a separate bedroom, shower room and open plan lounge/ kitchen. The morning was spent on the veranda sipping coffee and listening to nature. The evening was star gazing sipping on a Pinot Cris. A great location for visiting Suffolk near Southwold

Unique and Charming Stay

My husband and I stayed here for two nights for a wedding in the nearby village. The cabin is well appointed and thoughtfully designed. Comfortable bed and the view from the little deck is stunning. Adrian was helpful and accommodating and we were sad that we didn’t have time to do a wine tour. We greatly appreciate eco tourism and will happily revisit on another trip from NYC. Loved it here.

Relaxed mid week break

What a relaxed couple of days. Not always an easy achievement with kids and a dog! Love that this is the only property on the site with easy unsupervised check in /out. Host Adrian was super responsive an email and bumped into him to say hi. Lots to sightsee nearby and great pubs. We mostly self catered and the cabin met all our needs. Great nights sleep on comfy bed. What more could you ask for.

Heavenly relaxing

This is a gorgeous place right in the vineyard and totally "off grid". It is a perfect place to go and relax for a couple of days. Adrian is a great host and we had a really interesting wine tour followed by wood fired pizzas! There is a great pub 10 mins walk down the road called the Wissett Plough that serves lovely food. We would thoroughly recommend the Cabin in the Vines as a Grape Escape!!

Grape Escape - fabulous hideaway

I don't want to tell people how sweet and cosy the Cabin in the vineyard is. It's such a perfect secret! Shhhh. It's bijou and perfect for two. We also had two dogs who loved the sun deck and large patio doors. The kitchen has all you could need for easy holiday cooking. The shower has a strong flow and is perfectly hot. The whole cabin was very clean and all appliances easy to use. The area is splendid. There's easy access to both Suffolk and Norfolk. We stayed in April so off-season and very quiet. Communication with Adrian, the host, was easy and prompt. The arrival and entry were easy. Directions were also good. We also didn't have rain so were able to drive our car up to the cabin to unpack, in bad weather you need to use a wheelbarrow to transport luggage. It's not far though. The Cabin doesn't have level entry so would be very challenging for a wheelchair user. There isn't transfer room or wheelchair turning space in the bedroom or the bathroom. We would stay again. Nicki

Great place for a relaxing break

Great space to relax in and get some ‘me time’ in nice countryside but easy to get to and very comfortable… then there is literally a shop on site with excellent wine, which always helps! Make sure you bring food essentials (milk, breakfast, snacks etc) because it is quite isolated, but there are two pubs close by (easily walkable distance). Very much enjoyed my quiet weekend stay!
