This is one of the best boutique hotels I have ever stayed. The hotel is of beautiful French colonial style and in the heart of old town, very convenient to go anywhere with lots of good restaurants within walking distance. The staff is friendly and very helpful. When you check in, you literally go through a whole orientation of the hotel and neighborhood. They really treat you like royalties, the level that you don’t often even get from the five star international brands. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely come back and stay here. Also, highly recommend using the hotel arranged airport car service. It saves you a lot of time and hassle.

I've stayed at an incredible number of hotels and this was one of my favs. Amazing staff courteous, friendly, and going out of their way to help. Can't say enough about them. The hotel is cozy, very well appointed,with a comfortably upscale feel. Same for the rooms. The location is perfect for walking Old Town, shopping, spas, and dining. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel, excellent facilities, excellent staff. This is my only 5 star review whilst in Vietnam. Very attentive and helpful staff. Nothing was a problem. Special mention to Will at the bar for interesting conversation, Katy for lovely smiles and great help, and Ahn for making me feel welcome. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

The Meritel Hanoi is one of the best hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in. The common areas and rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the bed and pillows were wonderful. The food is very good and the rooftop pool and bar are hard to leave. The best and most memorable part of our stay at the Meritel Hanoi was how well we were treated by the entire staff. I have traveled globally and stayed in many nice hotels over the years and have to say the staff at the Meritel Hanoi is the friendliest, most helpful and professional hotel staff I have experienced. Our host who checked us in and assisted us throughout our stay was so personable, genuine, helpful and kind. Ami made us feel veryspecial. Our next trip to Hanoi will definitely be at the Meritel Hanoi. Thanks to the entire staff.

The service from the staff was amazing and the location is wonderful. Judy on reception is fantastic and a credit to Meritel Hotel. Really pleased I stayed here. The only thing I would suggest is to increase the vegetarian options and if possible add some halal meat options.
