Upeat näkymät meidän 2 makuuhuoneen hyvin varusteltu, mukava perhe

Taransay Mökki on kahden makuuhuoneen irrotettu yhden tason chalet tyyli talo kiehtova näkymät yli rannoille ja kukkuloille Harris mukaan lukien saari Taransay, josta se sai nimensä. Huoneistossa on 1 x kahden hengen makuuhuone ja 1 x kahden hengen huone (myös pinnasänky ja taitettava sänky). Kylpyhuone, jossa on kaksinkertainen suihku (ei kylpyä, mutta uimapuut pienille lapsille), hyvin varustettu keittiö, joka johtaa ruokailuhuoneeseen, jossa on myös 2 nojatuolia ( jotka yleensä tulevat talon suosituimpiin paikkoihin), joista voit katsella näkymiä kupin kahvia kohti. Tilavassa olohuoneessa on mukavat istuimet, upeat näkymät, kirjoja ja pelejä sekä suuri tv. Talo on 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä ensimmäisestä rannasta ja siellä on monia muita vaihtoehtoja, joista pääsee jalkaisin. Kylässä palvelee usein joukkoliikennettä, sillä on vieraileva liikemyymälä ja sillä on myös mökki, joka myy mereneläviä ja paikallisia tuotteita.
Tämä chalet sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta MacGillivray-keskus. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkaille esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat.

This house is in a great position with wonderful views. It is very spacious and has everything you need. It was spotless and has good drying facilities for those wet days that can happen! Great for beach walks and bird watching from the house. We would like to return.

Love Harris and the property location is ideal for us. Check in was easy and smooth. Kitchen facilities are good and there’s plenty utensils, but feel new oven/hob may be needed soon!

Gorgeous family home, very well equipped with fantastic views. Northton beach and Ceapabhal hill are literally on your door step, as is Croft 36 a craft bakery who make amazing food. The location is also great for reaching Leverburgh approx 3 miles which has a brewery, restaurant (great food) deli and bottleshop. It’s located beside the Ferry for those who want to explore more of the outer Hebrides. A golf course and lots of other beaches and hill are nearby. Will definitely book to stay here again if the property is available.

A true gem of a cottage

This was a wonderful cottage, the best in which we had ever stayed and we have stayed in a lot! The location only 5 minutes walk from a stunning beach and within walking distance of at least 2 others was fantastic. The cottage was spacious and was equipped with everything you could have possibly needed. The view from the front windows was so lovely. Local people were very friendly.

Super home in south west Harris

We’re repeat visitors to this lovely house and it never disappoints. It’s warm, comfortable, well equipped? quiet and in a super location. Would thoroughly recommend. It’s an easy walk to beautiful beaches and the Temple and an easy drive to even more beautiful beaches. Beautiful views across the Northton salt flats to the Harris hills/luskentyre. 5 minute drive to Leverburgh for shops/restaurant/ferry to Berneray.

3rd visit and we still love it!

Just visited Taransay Cottage for the 3rd time and we've enjoyed it as much as the first time we went. It's a beautiful cottage, great location, near to beautiful beaches. We can't fault it and look forward to returning soon.

It would have been perfect, if the door had been open when we arrived. We were told that it would be open with the key on the inside of the door. It wasnt and after a 7 hour drive arriving at 9.30pm. Communiction with the host is lacking.

Gorgeous, spacious house, with beautiful views, in a great location!

This was the first time that the place we'd booked turned out to be even more beautiful and spacious than it appeared in the photos! A 10 minute walk from a gorgeous beach, mobile grocery delivery, a lovely coffee shop down the road, a sustainable local stall in the other direction, just steps from the cottage, with a view of a beautiful mountain and bay from the living room and kitchen. This house has just about every amenity and extra you could want. Thank you for a brilliant stay, and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Beautiful Relaxation

As somebody who has been visiting Harrs for 50 years but finding prices in the places we know so well rising beyond our means for every visit, this was perfect. Lovely house with loads of space for 4 adults, large living room, large well equipped kitchen and that amazing view from the dining room and living room. Less famous than Luskentyre and Seilebost, Northton is a great place to stay with amazing views, four deserted beaches in easy reach as well as wildlife (we saw otters, golden eagles and porpoises) and the Temple Cafe is a lovely wee daytime local overlooking the salt marsh, serving the best coffee ever and will also do you a wee Harris G&T. Highly recommended place to stay.
