Nice accommodation in Hay.

We were in room 9 with parking right at the door. We have stayed at the motel a couple of times now and always have found it enjoyable. It's positioned in the middle of town and has a hotel next door that has great meals. The bed was comfortable and all things were in working order. It's also quiet. We would recommend the Nicholas Royal Motel to anyone travelling to Hay.

Only thing l was not happy about. After being evacuated from the building at 1.10 am after being allowed to return we were given no explanation why we were evacuated. Even front desk staff that morning had no idea the event had even occured.

Good little Country Hotel

It's a pleasant little Hotel with about 15 rooms with parking outside & a pool. Appeals to be family run & there's a Pub next-door with a bistro. If passing through Hay again, I woul most likely stay there again.

It was an overnight stay, but we were impressed with the motel, other than the fact the reception was not manned and gaining access to our room was difficult as it had to be done over the phone and access was achieved by codes, as was the room.
