I stay at the avid hotel in Hayes one day a month in my travels around Kansas and it is my favorite place to stay. Quiet, clean and great breakfast.

IHG could do better

Rooms are boring and inviting. Please take my 150.00 and use it to buy new pillows. They suck. It was noisy between the wall unit and the hall noise. The place was clean overall. The breakfast staff was helpful and the coffee was good.

Comfortable sleep

We love Avid Hotel Hays. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. This particular room did have an issue with the door. It was extremely difficult to open plus, you needed to slam it to close it. The shower door also did not have any handles on it.
