Took 3 phone calls and 15-20 minutes to get someone to let us in to check in and open the locked door. No one would answer phone. It would repeat promps. . I pressed 0 to get response 3 times. It was 11:15 at night. I Felt the staff person was not very apologetic. What was that all about? Lobby staff couldn’t have need more pleasant the next morning.

The ease of parking was a positive- $15 breakfast was not appropriate- the Manager was very helpful in pointing us to the right areas in Hilton Head island and the list of fish restaurants was good too.

On our way to Orlando we stayed for a night. Late check in we got a room that made it hard for kids to breath and it smelled like somebody had smoked their away their stay. Unfortunately the hotel was sold out and we did get a fan for the inconvenience. Which perhaps a smart idea in theory but had none effect. The smell was so much that the hotel staff acknowledged that it was not how it is supposed to be. We didn’t have any option coming in late with three kids. In the morning our clothes and everything smelled cigarettes. Tim the night receptionist was very service minded and did as the best as he could but the smell didn’t go away. Two kids with asthma I would do differently next time. The front manager in the morning confirmed that smoking isn’t allowed so that’s good, but still much you can do… otherwise the staff and hotel was all and all good!

Loud noises, shouts 2-3am - kept my wife up. We shouldn’t have to complain to get your attention to this. We were given room with wheelchair accessible shower. Why? Water all over the floor as a consequence.

I was not happy with the fact there was no fresh coffee available all day. Also the the listing states there is a restaurant and bar giving there is a bar to hang out at. But the bar was simply a shelf with bottled beer. To me a bar has a seating area with draft beers and conservation. The mention of a bar is total deception.
