This is a home built for groups who want to spend time together — and have the space to do it properly. Step through the door and you're greeted by the home's original stained glass windows at the entranceway, a beautiful nod to its history — this circa-1900 residence balances timeless character with thoughtful contemporary updates throughout. High ceilings, ornate cornice work, ceiling roses and timber floorboards run through the home, creating a wonderful sense of warmth and elegance that's rare to find.
Two living areas give your group room to spread out. A formal lounge, anchored by a pair of well-worn-in lounges, offers a quieter retreat from the main event: an open-plan dining and family living area that catches the northerly light all day long. Settle in for a film, or gather around the entertainer's dining table for a proper sit-down meal — this room does both equally well. Wide doors open out to a sun-drenched timber deck, flowing through to a private courtyard perfectly suited to alfresco dining and entertaining. The black-and-white kitchen rounds things out nicely, kitted with premium appliances and the kind of bench space that invites you to cook, not just reheat. Comfort is assured throughout the seasons with a combination of reverse-cycle air conditioning and panel heating.
Five bedrooms sleep ten across two levels. Upstairs, the primary suite pairs a queen bed with generous storage and its own ensuite.
