Outside, there is an enclosed private garden with furniture, and off‑road parking for one car, along with a garage. Bed linen, towels, fuel, power, and WiFi are included in the price. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You will find a shop and pub within 0.4 miles. Moorview provides a well‑located base for exploring West Yorkshire and the nearby Peak District National Park. Note: Dog bed, toys and treats provided. Note: The accommodation is accessed via stairs (upper-floor property), so may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Scholes is a rural village, surrounded by countryside in Kirklees, West Yorkshire just a short drive away from Holmfirth. The village is home to a cricket club and winding county lanes for walking and cycling. To dine out there is the rustic setting of The Walkers Arms, serving home-cooked meals and a great selection of beverages, whilst a convenience store selling homely essentials can also be found in the village. A scenic drive will lead you to the bustling town of Holmfirth, which rests in the beautiful Wye Valley and is home to independent cafes and fantastic walks. You can sample delicious wines at a vineyard or embark on a bar crawl for a range of quirky bars to spend the evening at. Head into the large market town of Huddersfield, where you can tour a Victorian mansion housing the Tolson Memorial Museum, or to Greenhead Park for a quaint picnic in the grounds of an art gallery to absorb the culture.
