Cozy Chamberlands Cabin! 3BR / 2BA
Enjoy the simple pleasures of this charming 3 BR / 2 BA cabin located down the beautiful west shore of Lake Tahoe within Chamberlands just a short easy walk down to the beach! Or during the winter, youâre less than a 5 minute drive to Homewood Ski Resort, where you can take in some of the most spectacular views of Lake Tahoe!
Situated on an oversized lot near the entrance of the Chamberlands community, this is a simple family-friendly cabin that is well appointed and ready for you to plug in and enjoy all that the magical west shore has to offer. You`ll love the cozy living area with wood burning stove, comfy furnishings and SmartTV. And just outside, thereâs a large wrap around deck with a lovely lake view, gas grill, outdoor dining tables and lounge furniture (available during summer months). This house can accommodate up to 6 adult guests and is a perfect getaway for couples, a small group of friends or families alike! Note that we can consider groups of 8 if bringing children 16 and under.
The bedroom configuration is as follows:

- Parking for 4 cars on large wrap around driveway directly in front of cabin.
Guests have full access to the home, however there may be a locked closet or cupboard for owners items.
Chamberlands is a true gem to be discovered in Lake Tahoe. Located between Homewood and Tahoma on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, this neighborhood offers wonderful woodsy locations with many properties bordering on streams. There are approximately 300 homes within the Chamberlands subdivision.
This home is located near the entrance to Chamberlands on a quiet street and is just a short 7 - 9 minute walk down to the beach. Note that this property does not included access to the private beach area, but there is a public beach area directly adjacent to the private beach area.
All homes have access to a shuttle service for transportation from their homes to the beach area. The shuttle departs every half hour on the hour beginning at 11am with the last regular run at 4:30pm. The shuttle operates on a limited basis (primarily over summer holiday periods and weekends) from approximately July 1st â August 20th. Visit the Chamberlands HOA website for additional information including shuttle route schedule during the summer months.
Chambers Landing Restaurant is a localâs favorite and located right next to the private beach area on the water. During the summer, offering an outdoor bar and grill during the day and open for fine dining in the evenings, Chambers Landing Restaurant has it all! The restaurant is open Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Pull up and park your boat at the dock to enjoy all that Chambers Landing on the lovely West Shore is known for. A long wooden pier stretches out into the blue water with a small bar serving the famous âChambers Crushâ. Itâs a perfect place to enjoy a day with family or friends. The restaurant itself features wonderful Tahoe mountain ambiance and outstanding food.
Minutes from skiing at Homewood Mountain Resort. Close to Squaw Valley / Alpine Meadows. Short drive to Tahoe City. Close proximity to Obexer`s Market and Tahoma Market, Dog & Bear, Cult Burger, West Shore Cafe and Where We Met Coffee Shop. Bring your bikes and enjoy the west shore bike trail.
Booking guest must be 25 years of age or older.
Maximum 6 adult guests. Additional children maybe permitted upon request up to a maximum occupancy of 8.
Community quiet hours from 9pm - 8am daily.
No events or parties. This is not a party house and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains.
No smoking of vaping.
No commercial photography and / or filming allowed.
There is parking for 4 vehicles on the driveway and no spillover for additional cars. Note that there is no street parking allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance).
Note that this property does not included access to the private beach area, but there is a public beach area directly adjacent to the private beach area.
No outdoor fires or charcoal bbqâs allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill).
Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage.
Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked) whenever not present in the home. Important! Please make sure that all bungee cords are properly installed across all exterior doors / windows and turn on the system (light flashing) before departing. Failure to properly secure the home can put the home at risk and result in considerable damage if a bear enters the property.
The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 5 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. Youâll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).
The front entry door is somewhat exposed to the elements. We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe some shoveling needed. There are shovels located onsite that can be used by guests, but we also recommend traveling with a shovel in case needed while in route.
WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.
ALL SEASONS ADVISORY: By reserving this house, you acknowledge that you will be traveling to the mountains and that Lake Tahoe (while beautiful) is in a natural forest setting. As such, it is possible that you may encounter spiders, ants, field mice, etc. at properties throughout the area. We take every proactive measure to prevent pests from finding their way inside the property (i.e. regular cleanings, seasonal deep cleanings, routine pest control - i.e. spray perimeter and crawl space areas, set traps, seal up holes of entry, etc.). Despite those efforts, thereâs always a rare possibility that pests can find their way inside the home (as it only takes a very small entry point for that to occur). This is simply a reality of living in the mountains. By accepting our house rules, you acknowledge this Advisory and agree that there will be no refunds or adjustments to pricing should you encounter a pest(s) within the home.
