First floor corner unit at The Pikake. Extra windows for extra breezes. Senior & kid friendly. Able to watch turtles, whales, and sunsets from the lanai. Steps from the beach. No extra resort fees. Only 12 units in complex. 1 parking space for each unit.

The setting is pure magic. Love the lanai. Watched turtles and whales all day. Beach was ok to swim. House was great. Flooring maybe needs a little work. Seemed a little outdated but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Bed sheets were a little dirty when we checked in but not horrible. Overall a great time other than the unfortunate weather that came in towards the end.

Only one night spent here due to mix up with another reservation at a different unit but pleased not to have to move down the street. Can’t beat the view & location; bed was very comfortable, could use the some updates.

The beach access and view was amazing. However when we arrived the condo was not cleaned. We literally walked in to the condo were the last family just left. After i reached out to management they sent someone to clean the condo. we had the sheets replaced and the house cleaned.at first it seemed great but when we were doing the bed in the morning lots of dust on side and behind bed pretty disgusted. Dont get me wrong the place to stay is amazing all the way around. I was not satisfied with the condo and to top it off i was only refunded 150.00 what a joke.

Small and cozy right on the beach

Overall experience was great. Located close to everything, right on the ocean. Unit doesn’t breath very well so AC would have been a welcome feature - we didn’t come to Hawaii to stay inside, so it’s a minor observation. Screen door needs to be replaced or repaired.

Amazing beach condo

Could not ask for a better place for a family. Outside the patio is a grass field and then a beach. Kids played in the grass and sand and ocean. Kitchen also well equipped! Highly recommended

Clean and convenient

My third time at the Pikake, each time at a different ground level unit. Very clean and updated with well supplied kitchen. King bed was very comfortable. Love the lawn with shower that leads to a small beach. Beautiful sunsets with views of Molokai. Host is quick to respond and very gracious. Easily walk to shops, restaurants, public beach park and public bus transportation.

Beautiful

Great place. Right on the water. Walk to lots of simple food places for take out. You can see turtles out in front, swim and snorkel. Ocean is right there and waves are crashing on the reef. But, This is what I love! Lulled to sleep by the waves! Kitchen is well equipped. We cooked most of our breakfast in the condo and had breakfast on the lanai. Lots of families and kids. It’s not a party place, it’s not a resort. It’s the best, nice place on the water to enjoy! We hope to return someday! 😊

What vacation is supposed to be

Overall this worked very well for us. The noise from the building next door was noticeable but wasn’t too bad. My only complaint is there weren’t any coffee filters. The snorkeling in front was amazing. Overall it was a very convenient location and we would definitely stay at the Pikake again.

Relaxing and Wonderful!

Just can't beat this location! Loved having the beach so close and had lovely wildlife to watch...whales, turtles, crabs, geckos, and birds! Had some crazy weather, but with this view, no weather can be bad! Loved our stay! Kitchen is super well equipped with utensils, and grill is just outside! Great stay!

Location, View, WOW !

Pikake Unit A1 has an awesome view and couldn't be any closer to the water! It was an easy and very relaxing stay! Sunset was magical ! I would absolutely stay there again!

Beautiful view, great location, but needs a few additions

Overall I would stay here again, we stayed for 6 days in November 2022. Pros: -Great view and proximity to beach. You can walk out to the ocean directly from your room. This is hard to beat! There are people snorkeling right off this beach and we spotted at least 5 turtles during our stay. We even got a double rainbow one morning. -Kitchen was FULLY stocked with various appliances, pots/pans, coffeemaker, etc. -Good location, about 10-15 minutes from Lahaina area and not far from North Shore. Kihei is about 30 minutes away. -LOVE waking up and listening to the ocean sounds. -The provided beach towels, coolers/ice block, and beach chairs were super handy and nice to have for various excursions. The chairs even had pockets for towels and such. Cons: -There is no pool, we were fine with this because we were hoping there wouldn't be any loud kids. Well, you are directly next to another complex that has a pool right by the side of your place, complete with screaming kids in the pool at 6 am. -This place is pretty bare-bones and could use some creature comforts. For example, the showers never got hot, no coffee was provided, they only gave us 2 rolls of toilet paper, and when we arrived there were only 2 beach towels and no other towels. The owner had someone bring us towels but it wasn't that many towels. -Rooms are pretty small, not a lot of room for suitcases and such. -Because your room faces the ocean/beach and the lawn area with beach chairs, you have very little privacy. The other condo tenants are walking by and grilling right outside your door. There are curtains and you can still open the vents to hear the ocean and get the breeze though. -There is a table right outside your room but the beach chairs in front of those (towards the ocean) aren't necessarily yours, since there are more condo units than beach chairs. So at the more popular times, you can't sit outside on the lawn chairs because they're occupied. All in all, this is an amazing place to stay and I'd definitely come back. I may consider staying at a unit on the upper floor though, because of the privacy issue downstairs. However, walking out into the ocean is pretty cool too. I would recommend this place for 2 adults + 2 small kids, but not more than that. -

Great location!

We loved The Pikake condo. The condo had everything we needed. The view was amazing and the turtles showed up toward the end of our stay. We definitely needed the extra tan in our room at night. It was pretty warm while we were there.

Perfect getaway spot

We loved this VRBO and we look forward to returning and staying again…perfect amenities on the beach…take a few steps out the door and you are beachfront… Perfect spot to sit and relax for hours… Amazing sunsets…
