Amazing property with a beautiful lake view. It was very spacious. The only down fall was there wasn't a microwave or air fryer available to warm up food after a long day at work. I will book again but will definitely pack an air fryer.

This was our third stay at the pet-friendly Hot Springs Lake Home. As always, it provided a great home base to explore Hot Springs. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the geese and ducks. At sunset, we saw fireflies. The host leaves clear instructions for locking the door, using the Keurig, etc. which is very helpful. They also provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom, which is nice in case we forget something. The host provides YouTube TV, or you can sign into your Netflix or Prime accounts on the smartTV. At checkout, there is no lengthy to-do list- just take out the trash, start the dishwasher, and lock up. We hope to stay again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The kitchen was fully equipped. The area was so peaceful on the lake, and just a quick drive to downtown.When I made the reservation, I didn’t realize the downstairs bedrooms were only accessible through an exterior entrance, and I was nervous about it once I realized that. But with an adjustment to our family’s sleeping arrangement, it all worked out well, and ended up not being a problem.

Our host was very attentive. The house is great. It's close to restaurants, activities, entertainment, etc. It's a very quiet neighborhood. At night it's so peaceful. The downstairs being separate from upstairs was great for us (we traveled with our two teenagers so they had their privacy and we had ours, when needed). We would definitely recommend staying here and we're already working on booking our next visit next year.

There is a BIG difference staying at VRBO or “the other one” being managed by a professional vs. just someone trying to rent out their place. The care and consideration that went into the space and amenities is apparent from the check-in process to the make-up towel. The instructions for all the devices were super helpful, and though we had some user error on the AC/Heat everything was clear and an easy transition from home.The kitchen is impressively equipped with modern appliances and the cookware, flatware and dishes needed to cook a large meal. We didn’t get a chance to use it for more than eggs but I could have easily made every meal in-house.The outside area is beautifully landscaped, plenty of grass for the pups, and the lakeside dock and boardwalk are beautiful places to watch the Canadian Geese as the sun sets across the lake.Conveniently located in the middle of town both door dash, Instacart and Walmart delivery all deliver and all they need to know is that when they turn down the driveway it’s the house in the middle that has a 1 on the door. We had dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf one night and though I’d always thought this place was kind of touristy, the trigger fish and crab cakes were delicious, service was great, and the ambiance was beautiful.As a traveler with pets, finding suitable places that can accommodate can be challenging but the tile floor and easy access to outside make this a perfect place to stay. I would definitely stay here again!
