This is an elegantly designed 2-bedroom holiday home for 4 people and is located in Houffalize Ardennes. The tastefully decorated house is a blend of a rustic style and modern amenities. The private terrace offers a great view of the scenic landscape of the region. The beautiful towns of La Roche and Durbuy are 25 and 50 km away, respectively. The house has a shared garden with furniture and a terrace. The children can make use of the trampoline as well. The Liege airport is 75 km away. Bed linen must be brought by the guests themselves

Das Haus ist toll und bestens ausgestattet. Der Kamin ist im Winter ein großes Plus. Es liegt in der Nähe von Spazierwegen in der Natur. Viele gute Restaurants und Gedenkstätten aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg befinden sich in der Umgebung. Ein Minuspunkt ist das Badezimmer, das klein und unbequem ist. Die Badewanne ist klein und schmal, und da sie sich unter dem schrägen Dach befindet, ist der Ein- und Ausstieg schwierig. Wir konnten die Badewanne auch nicht über die Düsen hinaus füllen, da der Überlauf aufgrund fehlender Dichtungen undicht war. Der Vermieter war nicht sehr freundlich, als wir dies meldeten. Er gab uns die Schuld, die Badewanne überfüllt zu haben ... Das stimmte aber überhaupt nicht.

Een warm ontvangst door de eigenaresse. Een fantastisch huisje, zeer compleet uitgerust. Knusse en gezellige inrichting. De kers op de taart is het uitzicht. Je kijkt kilometers weg naar een glooiend landschap met bossen, weilanden. Zo beleef je de Ardennen wel heel bijzonder. Wij hebben een geweldige week beleefd en vonden het jammer om weer naar het drukke Nederland te moeten. Zoek je rust en ruimte… this is the place to be!

Maar de houtkachel moesten we naar niet gebruiken, dan werd het te warm, de elektrische kachel stond op 22, erg warm en zette de eigenares op mijn verzoek lager, mocht dat niet zelf doen. Het bad ligt onder een heel schuin dak; je kunt je hier niet zittend douchen, zoals ik hoopte. Er zijn alleen hele grote pannen in de keuken. Verder een erg leuk en knus ingericht huis, hoor! En mooie wandelingen in de omgeving.
