Reed's on the River Cabin 8

Beautifully renovated cabin located at Reed's on the River Resort on the beautiful Sturgeon River. Built in the 1940's. Remodeled in 2024. Private bedroom w/full bath, second bathroom, kitchen, & stone fireplace. Second queen size bed  and full size futon round out the living room space.  The Sturgeon River is well known for tubing, kayaking and fishing .  Please note that cabin 8 sits closer to highway so there is traffic noise. The cabin has a deck with table and chairs as well as a firepit.  Please note that Cabin 8 is set slightly off of river whereas the other 7 sit directly on river.  You can, however, take your chairs and sit along the river.

 The cabins are a perfect spot to visit May through October as the weather is wonderful. Please note we allow 6 guests, however, the futon is small in the living room. The Sturgeon River is very well known for it's fishing, especially in the Spring and the Fall. It is also the fastest flowing river in the lower peninsula of Michigan making it ideal for tubing and adventurous kayaking. 

We are very pet friendly but have a pet policy and a pet fee. We charge $25/night, per pet, with a max fee of $250 and a max of 2 dogs.  Please note that Airbnb does not include pet fee in reservation.  It must be paid separately.

Reed's on the River Cabin 8 offers its guests barbecue grills. The front desk is open around the clock.
