Welcome to this secluded get-away conveniently located about 20 min to Folly Beach, 15 min to Kiawah and 15 min to downtown Charleston.

Relax at this newly furnished guest house in a secluded setting.

You will enjoy an entire 1 bed 1 bath guesthouse above our attached garage. You have a separate private entrance and separate parking.

The guesthouse is accessed from an entrance at the rear of the garage. Make your way up the stairs and you are greeted by a bench made from a salvaged cotton mill flooring board from North Carolina. This main room has a sofa, live edge table for setting up an impromptu office, smart TV, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and coffee table. Adjacent to the living room is the full bathroom and bedroom both behind their own doors.

You will have full access to the guest house above the garage with a private entrance. We do not share this space with the main house. Think of this as similar to a town home or condo.

We are in 'the sticks' as some would say. You will travel on a dirt road and gravel driveway to get here. We're sorry if you just washed your car!

We are located in Charleston, SC - there are mosquitos, gnats, palmetto bugs, etc. We do employ regular pest control on this property.

The security camera listed in the details is mounted on the exterior of the garage pointed down the entry driveway.

We have two friendly dogs that you may see during your stay. They only know how to love so don't be afraid to give them a pet. Please do be careful when coming and going in your car.
You may see wild turkey, deer, hawks, owls, eagles or even a peacock during your stay.

This space was beautiful, well-built, clean, private, and comfortable. Sam was easy to get in touch with and followed up appropriately to ensure we were well taken care of. We had fun exploring Johns Island's Angel Oak, Deep Water Vineyards, Low Tide Brewing, and Island Provisions and Snow Monkeys for excellent dining. This area has even more we'd like to check out if we find ourselves back here, and we'd definitely stay in this rental when we do.

The unit was very well appointed and had all we needed for our stay. Much of our visit included dining out so the lack of a full kitchen was never an issue. Many good recommendations made by the hosts in their guestbook. Secluded and quiet yet in the heart of all our points of interest. Great communication from the host! We didn't experience any issues needing attention but I'm sure if we had, they would have been addressed in a timely manner. Great place! Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing!

This was a gorgeous property nestled very close to Hart Meadows Ranch, a wedding venue. This worked perfectly for our little getaway and we loved getting to pet the nice dog. They also had a book on the constitution that I got to read and ordered one for myself! We also went on a boat ride to Morris Island Lighthouse while we were there and I definitely recommend this property to anyone around or near Johns Island.

Cozy treehouse!

This was the perfect place to stay for our recent trip to Charleston. We were visiting our son and daughter in law to meet our newest grandson! This cottage was only 3 miles from their house and a much better location than trying to drive back and forth from the downtown hotels. Saved us so much time! Very cozy digs, almost a tree house feel! We didn't need a kitchen so didn't miss that. Very comfy large bed and a perfect place for 2 people. Very clean. Don't let the location scare you, it was actually quite easy to find. We will definitely be back! Thanks Sam!

Very private and quiet space, nicely equipped and exactly as advertised. I stayed 3 days and had zero issues or problems, but host was easy to reach. l would not hesitate to stay here again! The only other comment I would make is that Google/Apple maps is a bit off - you have to drive just a bit farther down the road and turn right into the driveway, just past the little white church.

Easter weekend

A quiet place to regroup after hours in family gatherings. Nice to have our own space. The place is quiet, sort of remote feeling but close to everything. Obviously a lot of thought and care went into preparing this place. It is beautiful and the host is very responsive to every note I sent. Loved it. Well, maybe not the stairs for these old knees but it was good exercise for them! Lol
