Checked in, went to the room and there was a strong musty/mold smell. Black mold on the shower caulking. Place needs a complete remodel. Did not stay in this nasty place.

Our check in went well and staff at the front desk were kind. When the toilet wouldn’t flush in our room and we called the front desk to ask for assistance they suggested that we fix the toilet which was completely unprofessional. We did end up fixing the problem - the water was turned off to the hotel bathroom which is why the toilet wouldn’t flush. Breakfast was average but coffee was never refilled. The hotel was sold out and the food service was understaffed.

Staff is wonderful, but hotel is outdated

The staff at the front desk are nice & professional. The hotel does need a bit of updating/ cosmetic work. While it was “clean”, there was a damp smell in our room, carpets are older, small chips in the tile in the bathroom, beds were okay (not overly firm but almost too soft), the walls are extremely thin as we could hear the people in the room next to us, and bath towels are very small. They offered breakfast, it was okay. It is on the smaller side of options, but thankful it was available. Unfortunately, the mini carton of milk that we grabbed was spoiled. It was still within its best by date, so I am wondering if someone placed the carton back in the “fridge” after it had been out for a while.

The breakfast was good, the owners cared but maybe the messages did not get relayed to staff correctly. The shower head in the bathroom was held up with wire ties. because of this the water from the handicap shower went all over the floor which you had to use towels to soak up the water. the carpet was not cleaned for a while. Otherwise the stay was ok.

Why I rated cleanliness so low. Showed picture to staff first night. They were going to come clean but never did. Next morning we complained again and the guy did come clean it pretty quick. Bathtub could have been cleaned better
