The complimentary glass of champagne at the bar was great. But, if there are two guests each should get one😁. We always stay at the BH on our way to FL and MI and MI to FL. Dinner menu was plentiful and tasty!

The staff was very polite and informative. The ambience was wonderful, nostalgic even. They had live music. I did however wish there were more after hours purchasable items such as a deck of cards. There wasn't anywhere close by that offered such items either. Otherwise the water stayed hot in the room and it was very spacious and clean. Loved the robes in the room, great! The evening concierge was sweet and helpful too.

Beautiful building. Staff was superb and incredibly kind. Not as busy downtown as we imagined, but this is likely due to visiting before summer festivities get started. Bathroom is updated and absolutely wonderful; robes are sublime. Dog friendly and area is walkable. Area feels safe for walking.

Honeymoon Stay

The Blennerhassett hotel was the first leg of our honeymoon. The service was top notch, and the dining experience was great. Loved the room as well. Would highly recommend this hotel to others and hope to go back there someday.

Heating did not work in my room. then changed the room there also heating did not work, finally called area heater. Window screen were broken in both windows. Tub would accumulate 1 inch water in taking a 2-minute shower. At reception, angry big black dog in a cage rushed at me to attack in his cage and barked each time I would approach reception and receptionist in morning did not even apologize for unwelcome, dont care, almost threatening behavior. Very Poor idea of hospitality if you treat your guests at reception this way. cant believe this is rated at 9+.
