The Blennerhassett Hotel was like walking into the perfect mix of classic and modern. The owners have done a great job of preserving this historic building while sneaking in up to date amenities. All of the staff that we had the chance to meet were incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean with super comfortable beds. After checking out we had brunch in their restaurant and food was scrumptious! We can’t wait to make a trip back!

I think the girl at check-in might have been new. Took a while to complete everything. Forgot to tell us where to park, so the guy at the gate was pretty grumpy/upset about us not having validation for our stay. We know however, he was just doing his job! Loved everything else and will stay here again!

Love the atmosphere at the hotel! It was clean and beds were comfortable. My only complaint was how difficult it was to turn the shower on and off, very hard to turn the handle. And I wish they had a breakfast.

The room was beautifullybfurnidhed and in perfect condition. The entire building was spotless, and it was a very quiet night with no real noise heard from the room at all. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff is extremely eager to approach and ask if you've been helped, and it was a lovely stay, as always.

Just about every area was dissapointing. Room was small, bathroom even smaller. No walk-in shower as advertised. One evening we had no parking available because of wedding crowd. You should have parking for guests staying at hotel seperate from guests coming for weddin. We had breakfast at hotel, it was poor. $44 for dried out, over salted egg/potato/sausage gravy/ biscuit bowl. Neither of us could finish it. The staff could not answer simple questions, nor did they seem interested in trying. It seems that all the hotel cared about was weddings taking place there, and not the guests staying at the hotel. We also feel we got price-gouged by expedia for room, even though it's supposed to save you money. When I asked the desk personal about it, they shrugged and said, thats odd, it's usually cheaper through them. You'll have to take it up with them, which I intend to do. Needless to say we will never chose to return there when in parkersburg area, and will advise others to avoid your hotel, unless they are having wedding there. You seem to treat those folks like you actually like and care about them. The only positive aspect was it was very clean, which is important.
