I stayed here a week ago. I have stayed here many, many times. Last week I was awakened by very noisy traffic outside my window. I requested a room on the quiet side this week and was not accommodated. Was offered a room upgrade, some chocolate and a glass of wine, but will still have to be awakened early in the morning by noisy traffic. Disappointed. They have an event happening this weekend, but I wonder if those guests have been staying here for about twenty years on a pretty regular basis.

This was my second stay. This is a beautiful hotel. The bar staff is irreplaceable! My room was larger this time (I paid extra), but my room smelled terrible…like dirty, sweaty bodies…the sheets on my bed also smelled this way. It was repulsive, and I almost couldn’t stay in the room. I sprayed some of my personal perfume. Not much of an improvement, but I finally fell asleep after 2 hours. Then the noise was unbearable down on the street. It was drag racing, loud engines and motors all night. If I ever stay here again, I will be requesting a room facing the alley or parking lot.

Loved it!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was old and lovely and completely pet friendly! They even partner with the humane society to adopt pets! They were all extremely friendly and helpful We will go back

I have stayed here at least once a year for the past 6-7 years for work. It's a quaint little find. This is the first year that the traffic/road noise woke me up. It must be the side of the building. I recommend requesting something away from the road noise.

Still a fine hotel.

I have enjoyed staying at this boutique hotel in the past. Still an excellent hotel. Only problem is that of slamming doors disturbing the peace.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating at this historical building. The bar and food were very good. The was a diner and shops right across the street with a big parking lot behind the building. There appears to be a spa but we did not use their services
