Gets the job done. Safe. Needs updating.

Good location. Pretty gross and outdated. Safe place to sleep. Imagine an old motel that you wouldn’t want to stay at - except this location is good and price is better than the places across the street. I’d stay again for these reasons. But be warned- nothing fancy by any means. It gets the job done.

Quaint hotel close to everything

Good hotel thats been renovated under new ownership/management. Very close to Ali'i drive, walking distance to ton of tourist shops and activities etc. Space was limited and pool was closed for both days we stayed which was a bit disappointing.

Nice Updated Hotel Close to the main strip

Nicely updated older hotel with a fun vibe. The young lady at the front counter could use some lessons in customer service and making customers feel welcome. The young man and day staff did an amazing job! Location is great to walk all of downtown from and is quiet at night. No option for daily housekeeping was disappointing. The parking lot is tight, was packed full every night and they charge $25 Daily for parking.

When you first walk in, you’ll be greeted, I mean scowled at, by the front desk after you interrupt them from scrolling through Instagram on their phone. You’ll then be charged a resort fee which is laughable and outrageous. The parking lot will never have enough room for all their guests, so get there early and don’t use your vehicle. In my room, I found some brown substance on the OUTSIDE of the bowl. At best, it was bronzer or tanning lotion. At worst? You know what’s brown and IN toilets, and not outside of it. The AC will rattle and make loud mechanical noises all night, as will the other guests slamming their doors so hard it could wake the nearby island. The walls are paper thin and you’ll hear everything. The shower takes 5 minutes to get hot water. They have shampoo and conditioner, but not body wash, so BYO. When you go to checkout, you’ll again be scowled at by the front desk with little to no interaction.

Didn't realize parking would be $25/day and that there would be a tax on it as well as another $25/day in fees. Unerxpected $111.34 added from what I paid Expedia for the two nights.

The hotel is okay. Does not have a microwave. It’s located in a strategic area. Near the beach, shopping, food, local shops. Definitely a good place to stay in kona.

Our experience at pacific 19 was average. The partial ocean view was ok, staff was ok, I paid extra for the mai Thai upgrade and didn’t receive it, so I’m hoping I wasn’t charged twice for using the ingredients at the mini bar. That aspect was nice. Room was nice but a bit small, bathroom super cramped. Wish the balcony was private as there was someone smoking nearby and while having the doors open it was a lot of smoke.

Clearly used to be a crack hotel that someone bought and spent some money on cute furniture and decore. Proximity to town and things to do was nice.
