KC Legends

Room was ok. We could hear the highway at night. Breakfast was good, nice variety. Too much artificial air fresheners in the hallways. Overall, it was a good stay. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

First off they switched our room (which was paid for) from two beds to one because “they were oversold.” The employee said she was sorry, but did nothing to make up for it. The room was subpar. There was a hole by an outlet. Huge clump of hair in the drain. It was a handicap room with a role in shower (which we didn’t need) - the drip edge at the entry to the shower was gone and water just spilled out onto the floor. The shad on the window was broken and would not open. They had a guest laundry - but with only one set of machines. The machines required quarters, but there was no change machine and the front desk had no change. All in all, I think you could find a better place to stay.

We went to check into our room at midnight and somehow it was canceled, with no room left. With a huge event in town and no rooms anywhere, we ended up having to drive home getting home at 5 AM! I had my confirmation number and email but still told me they didn’t have it. Super frustrating!!
