Looking to get some fresh air? You will not be disappointed to get away from the city. Bring the whole family to this home down the road from Smithville Lake with lots of room for tons of fun! Personal private pond on property for fishing. There are horse, hiking, and hunting trails nearby. In town mom and pop restaurants. Grocery store and Quick Trip gas station a few minutes away! You may rent boats at Smithville lake starting May 1st! 87$-375$ depending on what boat and how many hours rented!5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms VERY SPACIOUS!
Upper Level (2nd Floor): King, Queen Beds & Futon, this floor shares a full bath.
Main Floor (1st Floor): King bed, and additional bedroom with office and a door includes a futon. Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Area, Rest area.
Bottom Level (Basement): Full bed in a bedroom with a door, futon, 2 day beds, couch, recliner in living room area. Pool table, air hockey family room.
Outside: Plenty of parking, 25 acres, Private Pond, Designated Covered seating area near pong with grill, some life vest, Private Canoes. Tons of Country Porch Vibes!
No parties allowed.
-please inquire about bringing a boat bus ATV or any other equipment on the property.
-If you rearrange furniture, please put back in its same place from before.
-Will provide toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, and conditioner, starter supplies. Large groups are encouraged to bring more for their group. Dollar general and Walmart nearby.
-If you have a life vest please bring it, we will supply some.
-Bring bug spray!
-Please ask us about our pet fees.
-Enter pond at your own risk, must wear life vest at all times on pond.
-No Fireworks allowed
-Pickup dog Pooh! Bring your own pet baggies.
-Please do not pick flowers or other property attached to land.
-Fishing is catch and release on pond. Pond has algae sometimes, and it’s left in natural elements.
-We’re not on city sewer. Please take breaks in between showers or using washer. Thank you!

-We have another location in Brookside near The Plaza a local staple in Kansas City Missouri to host groups up to 8 people. We would love to host you there as well! :)

Great space for family or friend reunion

13 of our family aged 7 to 74 had a wonderful week at this beautiful property. There was more than enough room and privacy to accommodate us and all the equipment and furnishings we needed to have a spectacular as well as comfortable stay. The kids especially enjoyed the lower level and the game tables there while the adults enjoyed the wonderfully equipped kitchen on the main floor where we cooked every meal. The views were lovely and the kids loved the fishing pond plus the short drive to the big lake and multiple beaches. The huge deck on the back was a great place for coffee and watching the hawks find their breakfast. I would sum up the whole experience of staying here as A plus.

Perfect Girls Weekend

This house was the perfect place to host our girls weekend! There are plenty of beds and everyone slept comfortably. The property is about 20 minutes away from the Smithville businesses and we had no issues getting Ubers to our plans. 10/10 would recommend

Large rooms with lots of space.

This would've been an excellent place to hold my extended family Easter Dinner and egg hunt, but we were not allowed to. That would've meant 40 guest for a couple of hrs. The kids enjoyed fishing, the pool table & air hockey. They made use of the large yard. Every family group (4) had their own space. The largest group used the trendal beds & futons (5 boys) and the parents in the basement bedroom.We enjoyed being together for some meals and playing guitars and listening to music. Everyone loved the records and the player. We could not find any oars to take the boat out and the air hocky puck got stuck inside the table so that ended paying air hockey.games downstairs.

Stayed for Wedding

The location is stunning with easy access to shopping and the events we were involved in. The decks and large living spaces were wonderful for a large family group. We enjoyed listening to vinyl in the basement and playing pool, taking walks around the pond, and generally had an enjoyable time - we even had a visit from the neighborhood cat!It was very nice that we had access to the very large, spacious garage as well.We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the kitchen when we first arrived, but Jennifer quickly addressed that. The power recliners in the living area did not work. We also noticed that, since it is in a rural setting it is on a septic tank and we noticed a sewer gas smell in the master bath and when doing laundry. All in all, it is a lovely house that has not been updated in a while and so feels a little kitchy, but is also charming as a result depending on your personal tastes. The property and location are absolutely gorgeous and the space is excellent for larger groups.

Enjoyable Stay

Overall, I was extremely happy with my group’s stay here. We had a total of 11 guests, and the house easily accommodated all of us. The house offered many different indoor and outdoor activities that made the stay even more enjoyable. I have only great things to say about this property and its host. I would definitely recommend it for those visiting the Kansas City area with larger groups.
