Don’t risk this! Spiders & not clean. Avoid!

We booked the room on Hotels, arrived around 11:15 pm, we had a 26ft Uhaul and towing a car. My husbands handicapped and walks with a limp and hunched a bit. The man on duty gave us a room on the 3rd floor, AND THERE IS NO ELEVATOR! After hobbling up the stairs with our luggage, we entered the 3rd floor doorway and it was like a furnace. No AC! We went into our room and it was probably 90 degrees. It took about 3 hours to cool down enough we could go to sleep. Took a shower, tub didn’t drain. I was exhausted so we went to bed. Woke up to spider bites all over my neck, back and chest. (See pictures). I know it was a spider because I killed two in the room on the bed. Upon checking out , I asked the girl at the desk if we were given a terrible room because we booked on Hotels? She laughed and said if we had a problem we should have come down and told them. Well true but then we’d have to go back up 3 flights of stairs. Also there is no ice machine on the 3 rd floor or sign that tells you it’s on the first floor only. Walked into the room and tv was on, also smelled like cigarette smoke all night. Bed was comfy. But will never stay at another Super 8 ever again.

The pros: Convenient location. The room was a nice size. It had nice furniture and a very comfy chair. Continental breakfast at 6am: cereal, can make toast or frozen waffles, cereal, English muffins, bagels, juice and coffee. Etc... Lady that checked me in was super nice. The cons are: the AC smelled musty which caused the room to smell musty. I couldn't use the air. The extra lock did not work on the door because it was not screwed into the frame all the way. There is no elevator. I feel this should be one of the main points when choosing this hotel. I did not mention the musty AC because I was super tired and didn't want to walk down the stairs to the desk and move to another room. That is a pain. I know I would chose the hotel I stayed at the week before over this one.

Breakfast description needs to be changed. Noted a continental breakfast- that was not continental but more of a grab and go. There were a LOT of stairs and the layout was weird but staff was friendly, bed was great. Would stay again if passing through
