Tämä upea huvila on vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä rannalta ja on rakennettu ja sisustettu erittäin korkeatasoinen on koskematon sisustus värikäs infuusioiden, se on erittäin tilava ja on jaettu yli kolme tasoa. Tämä elintilaa avautuu tilava parveke ylellisillä teak huonekalut ja pehmeät kalusteet, jotka unohdetaan suuri patio alueilla, ylellinen sohva mukavat tyynyt, iso uima-allas ja erittäin suuri hyvässä kunnossa tilava puutarha. We (a family of 4 adults) had a great time staying in this is lovely villa, Its in a perfect location with beautiful views, just 5 mins walk from a lovely small sandy beach with plenty of great restaurants close by. The villa itself is immaculate and comfortable with a lovely outside garden area and pool for relaxing. We hope to return!

Beautifully well kept villa and garden, and really helpful hosts who advised on car hire, plus tips on what to do. We stayed with our 3 grown up children plus partners, plenty of space for all - and the 20+ year olds loved the pool inflatables. Great location, peaceful but short distance to main sites to see and brief walk to quiet beach

Beautiful, spacious villa

Everything you need from a villa and more. Photos do not do it justice. We had a lovely, relaxing holiday. Close proximity to beach and a beautiful cafe/bar with stunning views. Would highly recommend hire of a car to visit the island and also as the villa is not close to shops etc.

We had a wonderful stay at Morgorlwg Fila Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kefalonia! The location is excellent—just a short drive from the airport, close to grocery stores, and near some of the island’s most beautiful beaches.The villa itself is set on stunning grounds with great facilities and a strong sense of security. Inside, it’s clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. The views are absolutely gorgeous and made our time there even more special.The hosts were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and the villa was well-equipped for families with young children—everything from a cot and bedding to a high chair, feeding gear, and bed rails was provided, which made our stay much easier.It’s also a great base for day trips around the island. We especially loved the nearby beach, which had clear water for swimming and snorkeling, plus a lovely taverna with a relaxed, local vibe—not overcrowded with tourists.Overall, a perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

Family holiday

Well presented property with lovely outdoor space and far reaching views. Great pool, verandah, bbq and seating areas. Short drive to beautiful cove for swimming and lunch/ drinks overlooking the sea. Around a 20 min drive to Argostoli for strolling, shopping,eating etc. Excellent air con in the bedrooms. Very attentive hosts who were very welcoming and keen to make our stay as good as possible. We had a happy holiday here on this beautiful, quiet island.

We had an amazing time at Morgorlwg Fila! Weather was fantastic, villa was immaculate with breathtaking views in tranquil setting,much needed to relax from our busy work life. Perfect!

Absolutely perfect. Clean and comfortable. Amazing views. Everything you need either to stay in and enjoy or venture to explore the beautiful island. Would definitely recommend. Check out Unexplored Kefalonia quad safari and Irakalis Sailing for a perfect day on the sea. Snorkelling in the local bay is great. Also visit Antisamos Bay for snorkelling as well.

Stunning Villa Perfect location.

We had a fabulous week at Morgorlwg Fila early November the villa was immaculately kept with beautiful deco and very comfortable throughout,everything exceeded our expectations, the weather was good too. It was such a tranquil place to stay with so much outdoor space in well kept private gardens.The walks around the area were lovely. The location is perfect for exploring the island in all directions. The villa is very well equipped with everything you need, the owners have certainly thought of everything.We particularly loved our relaxing evenings on the veranda with a lovely Kefalonia wine, so perfect in every way. Thank you for making our Anniversary so Special the welcome pack was most appreciated, we wish we had stayed longer we certainly didn't want to leave, we will definitely be back to this beautiful villa again hopefully sometime soon.

Lovely week in Kefalonia

We enjoyed our stay, but our experience of the villa was let down by the lack of access to the air conditioning, even though the unit was on the wall. We assume not providing the remote control to the AC was a cost saving measure by the owners. The patronising and slightly threatening notes left everywhere seemed to back this up. A shame as the villa was lovely and in a beautiful spot.

"Special piece of paradise"

The villa was even better than the photos,the views were awesome in all directions and everything was spotless,the villa was very well equipped and beautifully decorated with quality furnishings throughout.We had a wonderful time at Morgorlwgfila, we spent many evenings in the garden having BBQs and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. St thomas beach was perfect, lovely sand and clear waters. The villa is in a perfect location to explore the island in any direction, we travelled about a few days as there is so much to see on this beautiful island, although the villa has everything you could ever want for a great holiday. We have enjoyed enormously and will definitely be returning again in the future. Thanks for making our holiday so perfect in every way. Dave & Family

Week in Morgorlwg Fila

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks in Kefalonia, the first week in Sami and the second in Morgorlwg Fila. The owners provided tons of useful information before we arrived and were always available on email or phone if we needed anything. The property is clean and spacious, and the outside lends itself perfectly to relaxing days in the sun, with a brilliant relaxing area in the shade under the gazebo. We spent many days or Trapezaki beach (5 min drive), and Agios Thomas (2 min drive or 10 minute walk), both of which have brilliant beach bars which also sell great food. It's also only 15-20 minutes drive from Argostoli. Having the grounds for the kids to run around in was ideal, and the pool was clean (pool cleaner came 3 times, all while we were lying in) and the perfect way to cool down. We would recommend in addition to the above, Antisamos Beach, Enastron restaurant in Trapezaki and Mermaid restaurant in Sami (both did amazing food). We would highly recommend this property for it's location, spacious grounds, and having everything there to make it a home away from home.

Lovely villa

We had a lovely stay at Morgorlwg Fila. It is a very comfortable villa in a good location, and the family enjoyed the pool, outdoor space and barbecue area. It is very handy for Argostoli and made a good base for exploring Kefalonia. We had a lovely meal at the nearby Enastron restaurant. I haven’t given 5 stars overall as there are signs up everywhere detailing all the ways money would be kept from the security deposit, from breaking the mosquito nets to sitting on the sofas with suncream on. We would of course have been happy to pay for any issues caused, and the information is adequately detailed in the welcome pack, but we did feel that the number and the general tone of the constant reminders around the property gave an unwelcoming feel and made it harder to feel relaxed. This could easily be addressed to give the property an overall nicer feel. Nevertheless, we had a lovely time and would recommend Morgorlwg Fila to others.

Beautiful villa on a beautiful island

We have stayed in many villas across Europe and enjoy our comforts and privacy. This villa has both in abundance! It is set in a lovely exclusive part of the island, ideally situated to explore the full south coast of the island. The grounds are huge and very private, set behind high walls and a lockable gate. The villa is immaculate and is fully equipped for every need. The views from the balcony are stunning, we had many cheeky glasses of the local vino, dreamily looking out to sea. The pool was cleaned at least 4 times while we were there and the villa cleaner was very thorough and helpful. Sharon answered any questions we had immediately. I recommend a small hire car to rent for your stay as the roads are a bit tight and a good insurance policy. We have used Pfenis car hire for the last 3 years, we find them no hassle especially when you use pennies instead of credit cards. Thank you Sharon and Leigh! we would recommend your beautiful villa to anyone.

Morgorlwg Fila

Morgorlwg Fila We visited Morgorlwg Fila Villa from 10th July 2015 - 24th July 2015, 5 adults and 2 children. We all absolutely loved the very private and spacious villa, it's lovely well kept grounds, sea views and the fantastic swimming pool which both of my girls (ages 4 & 6) didn't want to leave at the end of our holiday. All rooms are air conditioned and have insect nets up if you wish to open windows without bugs flying into the rooms. From booking the villa to arriving, communication from Sharon and Leigh was excellent, emails & text messages with any questions (routes to villa, where keys are etc) were replied to very quickly. We hired two cars for the stay for the full two weeks and explored various parts of the island, but we really did enjoy staying at the villa most days throughout the day as it was perfect and going out for a meal on an evening. The beach (St Thomas) located at the bottom of the road from the villa is a lovely small sandy beach that's not too busy and has a taverna next to it for refreshments and food. We really hope to be visiting Morgorlwg Fila villa again soon, it's perfect for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Mr Ball and family.

Wonderful villa!! Highly recommended

We have just returned from spending 2 weeks at this villa & cannot recommend it enough! The villa is large, clean & has everything you need to have a wonderful holiday. The four bedrooms are spacious with lots of storage space & plenty of wooden hangers. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of & the whole villa has a homely feel, rather than feeling like a holiday let. The garden is large & provided much entertainment for our party - 4 adults & 4 children. The children loved the trampoline & the swings & we all loved playing badminton. The pool is a very good size & is deeper at one end. We spent most of our time in the pool (there were lots of inflatables to play with) or relaxing by the pool - the sun loungers are good quality wooden ones & have comfy cushions. We used the bbq a lot & ate outside most days. The gazebo area provided much relief from the midday sun. The villa is well located & the directions from the airport were perfect. There are a few larger supermarkets about 15 min drive away. St Thomas beach is a 5/10 min walk away but it is quite steep, although the you can reach it by car if you prefer. It is our first me on the island & we loved it - it is very picturesque & we loved the small beaches & coves. We hired a boat from Katileos & it meant we could go to private beaches not accessible by car. We have had a lovely holiday & it is has been so easy to deal with Leigh & Sharon from our initial enquiry right through to our last day. They have really thought of everything & made our holiday so easy & enjoyable! We hope to return & would recommend it to anyone.

A Touch of Class

"A Touch of Class" We had two fantastic weeks at Morgorlwg Fila. The villa is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, equipped to a very high standard and extremely comfortable throughout. Fantastic sea and night-time views of the delightful St Thomas bay and towering Mount Einos added to the magical charm of the villa's unique and tranquil setting. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished with lovely quilt covers and pillow cases, the bathrooms had fantastic showers and it was obvious that the owners, Leigh and Sharon, had gone to extraordinary lengths to make the villa as homely as possible. Outside the pool was great and the good-sized garden was a verdant green due to the fantastic night hours sprinkler system - this even after what must have been months of relentless sunshine - and there were lots of quality wooden sun loungers and tables and chairs. A car is more or less essential here - nearest mini-market is around 2km and nearest decent supermarket a good 10 minute easy drive - but it is a great base to explore more of this beautiful island and has a bonus of being a mere10-15 minute drive from the airport. Nearby amenities include the Karavados Beach Hotel (5 minutes walk - meals, drinks and a Greek night once a week) and a couple of tavernas and a beach bar on St Thomas beach (again a 5 minute walk, providing you use the direct downhill short-cut). There are plenty of other options within a 10 minute drive, particularly on the road to Lourdata. All in all Morgorlwg Fila surpassed our expectations on just about every level. It was our first trip to Kefalonia and we were completely smitten by its laid back lifestyle and breathtaking scenery. To be able to experience all that in such a wonderful villa really was the icing on the cake. Thank you Leigh and Sharon.

Family getaway

We enjoyed our vacation in Kefalonia last September with my family. The house is beautiful and location is secluded so very quiet. That said, some advice for future users of the villa: -Check the whole villa right upon arrival, and report ANY damage, even the most unsignificant ones since you will get charged at the owner’s discretion. -As mentioned by another user in a previous post, patronising notes left all over the place will remind you that you'll have to pay. It doesn't really help to create a sense of welcome. -The pool maintenance will be done without you necessarily being advised, and the technician entering the backyard without ringing the doorbell can be disturbing. -So does the indoor cleaning since no schedule will be transmitted to you, which is not very convenient when all guests are forced to be out of the property for the duration of the cleaning as per Greek law. This leads to a feeling of lack of privacy, pretty frustrating when you pay the price for a whole property to yourself. This feeling is aggravated by the presence of surveillance cameras, one clearly filming inside the property (this information wasn’t revealed to us and we discovered their presence upon arrival.) -You won’t have any control over the outdoor lighting, which turns off around 12:30AM. It is a shame, these shortcomings detract from the sense of hospitality usually associated with a trip to Greece, a country renowned for its great hospitality.

Fantastic

Morgorlwg Fila is stunning and if anything, the photos don't do it justice even though they attracted us to the villa in the first place! The pool and outside area are amazing and you won't want to leave. Inside, everything you need is there with great attention to detail. Really well equipped. Anybody staying there will have a great time! Wonderful communication from the owners beforehand too, especially during the tricky Covid period. Thanks so much Leigh and Sharon. What a lovely place to stay

The villa was amazing, very large outside space, more than enough for our family. Lots of seating options, and we used them all. The villa is large and has all the facilities you need for a great stay, including brilliant aircon in each room and 3 bathrooms (no who is using it first arguments!). Had a few questions for the owners, who were super quick to respond, friendly and very helpful. The local beach and bar were astounding. A 5 min walk away, past the goats and straight down. We never saw a better beach, and we visited a few. Lots of great restaurants a short drive away and two big supermarkets 10 mins away. Everywhere is easy to drive to. We don’t normally return to the same place but this was very special and I’m sure we will be back. Thanks Sharon & Leigh.

Wonderful Venue for a Super Holiday

We have been going to various Greek islands for our holidays on and off for years - always staying in villas, and I can say that this is the nicest, best equipped villa we've ever stayed in. In particular the seating, lounging, eating outside area is brilliant and just what a family needs on a relaxing holiday. While the villa was great, what was also fantastic was Sharon and Leigh's communications and commitment to trying to ensure we had a great holiday. They had even organised a cake for our's sons celebration which we found in the fridge when we arrived! :) Great villa offered by lovely, helpful people - you will enjoy your time at Morgorlwg Fila!
