Upscale newly constructed 3500 square foot , 2 story residential lake house with water-views in virtually every room, dockable pier with fishing off bank, located on a private rustic 3.3 acre lot.

5 total bedrooms , 4 attached bathrooms, and 2 extra sleeping areas. Complete galley kitchen & dining area, laundry room , living room with fireplace, 3 car garage, 2 large upper and lower porches with private access from each bedroom, separate screened porch.

We do not not provide charcoal, firewood or any boat vessels. You can rent them at sunset cove marina!

The house was amazing! It was easy access to the lake, beautiful views, beautiful house, and had enough space for everyone. It wasn't spotless, but it was pretty clean. We couldn't access the TV because the batteries were emptied, but we had plenty of entertainment. The house is beautifully made and made the trip so worth it. My favorite part was the acreage and the lake of course! There were no complaints about sleeping quarters, all the rooms were spacious. Everyone enjoyed the house! The pictures online don't do this property justice. It was beautiful!

Lakepoint Cove on Richland Chambers Lake

Impressive lakefront property with large linear water frontage. Appropriately sized for a moderate to large family gathering with many lake activities available to do. Very clean, well maintained and beautifully furnished house with up to date decor. Well-equipped kitchen for the chefs in your group. Direct TV programming on the living room television. Host was easy to communicate with and was promptly available with replies to any questions.

Luis was beyond amazing at replying to any questions we had before and during our stay. The property was more than accommodating. We are a big fishing family and our boys and family caught 113 fish!! The lake and the views were the best part. Loved how they welcomed our pups. House slept our whole family comfortably. Can’t wait to visit again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very spacious and fit our family well. Beautiful view of the lake from every part of the house. The host always answered my questions in a timely manner. The house was clean and the lawn crew actually showed up to mow right after we got there witch was a plus. Boat dock was perfect for fishing. The only issue was the grills are not in very good shape for cooking. Luckily, my husband is picky and brought his own grills. Over all the house is awesome. Will definitely stay again.

When we arrived and saw the view we were so excited. There were some tree branches down that could of been removed weeks ago, but the view of the water was awesome. When we walked into the house the thermostats were set to 74.15 minutes later we noticed it gettting hot so we checked them and they were set to 80. The thermostats are the Nest ones and I personally do not have those but I am aware they are controlled on an app. The refrigerator in the kitchen seemed not to be cooling after we were there for an hour I decided to call Luis and he was very rude and said we could leave. My family and I were shocked that he would even say that as we were just requesting the thermostats be lowered through the app and letting him know about the refrigerator. We noticed how filthy the walls were but we decided we could overlook that. After settling in we decided we were going to use the grill for dinner. Well to our surprise it was nasty and even had burnt steaks in it. Photos below. Obviously we did not use it and decided to go get dinner. This property has such great potential if it was maintenance better.

Family Vacation

The property is excellent, spacious, clean, all are well kept. The view is amazing. It's a pity that we were busy all day and only returned to the house late in the evening. and did not spend as much time there as we would like. The bugs, flies and mosquitoes prevented us to set foot outside of the house. We wonder if the bugs are always like that. We may want to come back and spend more time at and around the property.One thing we would like to point out that the temperature can not be adjusted. Downstairs was acceptable, but upstairs was too hot .

We booked this venue for an extended family trip for my in laws 52nd wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the location. The doc was perfect and we caught many fish! The bedroom, bathroom set up was perfect for multi-family stay. It fit our family of 15 great but fitting more would have been a bit of a stretch. The kitchen was excellently stocked....I have not stayed at a rental with so many cookware and spice options. They literally had everything we needed. The extra refrigerator was a surprise bonus too. There were a few repairs needed like there were two doors upstairs that were broken..one needed a doorknob repair and one was a pocket door that was off the track I believe. We loved the porches too and even saw a bald eagle on several occasions while we sipped our coffee on the porches. There was some trash in the shrubs outside (looks like previous guests did this) and the lawn needed a mowing in the back, but it had been raining quite a bit in Texas the week of our stay. Wanted to note it though for future rentals. We also enjoyed the views!! WOW! There is quite a bit of woods to the right of the property and we bird watched a ton. The sunset over the woods and the lake was spectacular. Would highly recommend.

Very nice and spacious house. Great area for fishing and outdoor activities. House could have been cleaner. Some stainsi f spill on cabinets and a few walls. Garbage disposal did not work and would not drain. Some if the bedding was not up to par. Pullout couch mattress was bad. Overall a great trip that managed our large family.. House

Perfect!

First impression upon walking in… the place smelled great. We could tell that it had just been cleaned. We had a group of 25. Everyone had a place to sleep. The kitchen has all kinds of stuff to cook with. Fridge was so clean it looked brand new. I didn’t notice in the house description that it had kayaks and rafts, but they did have some in the garage. Our weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to use them, but they looked in good condition. It was perfect for what we needed. Kids could be outside and loud without disturbing anyone. I had a couple of questions for the owner. When I reached out I received a response in probably less than 2 minutes. I noticed TVs, but we weren’t there for that so I don’t think they were ever turned on. There’s an extra fridge in the laundry room. Came with toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Had plenty of bathroom towels. For a large group, this place is great. The docks were just steps from the house and at night having the fire pit was a plus.i will definitely spread the word if I know of someone looking for a place to stay at the lake!

Friends Boardgaming Weekend Get Away

This house and property were perfect for our group! 12 people and 2 dogs had a fantastic weekend on the lake!The master bedroom downstairs is HUGE so we had plenty of room for stuff for our 6 month old. There is a bunk bed in the closet of the master bedroom that we didn't end up using for our group but would be great if we had older kids. Theres are two other decent sized beds down stairs and a bunch upstairs. The couch beds dont fold up they are open couch beds which was fine for us andmade for decent beds for couch beds! There's a large dining room table and very open living room space! It could be a little echoey but with us playing two different games and the baby being loud it wasn't unbearable at any point. It was fine! We do bring a folding table and a few folding chairs on these trips because we need a few tables to game on and we used it in this living room and it didnt feel cramped. We cooked a few things in the kitchen over the weekend and two refrigerators is a huge help for a large group that didn't want to do many grocery trips. The fire pit had chairs all around it and it was amazing day and night! Any small hiccups we had were easily and quickly addressed by the property manager. We will keep this place on our short list to come back to. I think wed cap a trip back here at about 16 adults and a few kids. This was a fantastic escape from busy city life!

Place was massively covered in spiderwebs and dead bugs needs a massive power washing. Could only get one of the TVs to work took two days to figure it out all the TVs were unhooked from cable boxes and all the cords were dangling. No remote control had batteries. We were 20 miles from a major town stopped at three different convenience stores was only able to buy one battery pack. So none of the upstairs TVs worked The master shower has no grab bars the tile floor extremely slick my 84 year-old mother had a bad experience in your shower. The Insurance agent in me says you need to have grab Bars. The lawyer in me says you are flirting with a future injury lawsuit. I was told they were Two bedrooms downstairs there is only one”real” bedroom. There is an office with a worn out couch and a laundry room with two beds and a closet with two beds but nothing that would be considered real “bedrooms” on the main floor. I specifically asked that because of my older relatives can’t do stairs. Overall disappointed in the stay would not be coming back and would not give a favorable review or rating The house needs much work and cleaning the kitchen Cabinets are filthy and disorganized.house keepers need directives on cleaning. And organizing

This is an amazing property but it doesn’t seem to be maintained properly. The main fridge didn’t keep the food cold, ice maker didn’t make more than an handful of ice the entire time, and it took 4 days for the freezer to almost freeze popsicles. Walls, floors, cabinets, screened porch were all filthy. The smaller shower head in the master bath was broken, screens were torn, chairs and tables outside were broke. Trash pick up was unreliable and the animals would get into the trash bins at night and leave it scattered for us to have to clean up multiple times. The pictures for this property need to be updated. There is not a fence separating the next door property anymore, the beach is underwater and the step down to it is higher than it was in the pictures which made it difficult for our disabled son and elderly grandmother to access the water.

A horrible and terrible experience!

In the past six years of renting with VRBO, I have always had a pleasant experience with little to no interaction with an owner. I left the property to go into town leaving my son and two puppies in the kennel I had brought with me. This is when the “owner” took it upon himself to come into the home I had just rented uninvited, unannounced and unwelcome. He entered using the front door startling my son and puppies. When told we had rented the property from the 1st through the 3rd, he stated he was the “owner” and could come in and do as he wished. The “owner and his two children proceeded to go upstairs and rummaged through the rooms including those we were staying in. After about 45 minutes, they left through the front door he had opened and let himself out. Once I returned and after learning what had transpired I messaged the host and asked if he had entered the rental. He replied no. Upon further messaging he replied he only entered the parts of the home I didn’t rent. Nowhere in the listing does it state this was a partial rental. I called VRBO and their representative urged me to call 911 and leave the house for our safety. Fearing what else the ”owner” might do and knowing the house is very remote and without working locks we immediately vacated the property. Shaken by the experience, I continued to message the host during which he confirmed entering the property and watched us on video. A truly horrible experience which shoud not be allowed to happen to anyone else.

Host has great communication

We stayed for a long weekend over the summer and it was great! Loved the house it was very big and spacious for the whole extended family to meet up and stay together. The dock and access to the water through the little beach right next to the dock was great and we loved being able to also tie our rented boat to the dock for super convinent access. Just beware of bugs! Many spiders and other little creatures in the area so be ready for that! Luis was a great host and would get back to me with answers to all my questions within the hour 10/10 communication.

Great vacation

My family of up to 16 stayed at this house for a total of 8 nights. Our first impression of the home was that it was a beautiful, huge house with very large rooms and plenty of parking. Very nice kitchen. The master bathroom is gigantic with a very nice shower and jacuzzi tub. The upstairs rooms are spacious as well with bathrooms and a large balcony. The yard is very large with plenty of bank to fish from and for the kids to swim. It also has a decent pier to dock your boat. A few of the negatives and my biggest negative first is that the outside grill does not work. I asked the property manager to replace it a month before we arrived but found a broken grill when we got to the home. I messaged the manager and they replied that the owner was still mad that a previous renter broke it and was not replacing it. It is a propane grill and we tried to use charcoal as the manager suggested but the coals would not get hot enough for lack of ventilation. We were very disappointed with the owner not replacing such an important piece of equipment that is relatively inexpensive. Charge the renter that broke it and replace it. Anyway that was the biggest problem , the jacuzzi tub needs another handrail down the center of the steps. Some of the upstairs rooms are locked so no access to them, and they have to many light switches in the house with no labels And the owner doesn’t know how to turn on the flood lights outside.Overall we had a great time and would rent the house again.
