Staff at the front desk gave us room upgrade because it was my husband’s birthday!! Room service delivered our meal on time and it was delicious. Room service came back and asked if we needed anything!! Room was spotless! Service was great all around… We will be back in April!!

The Jefferson Hotel is outstanding. But at Christmas time, the food service options for guests are terrible. The lunch service and evening dining service options were not available during our three day stay. Reservations had been fully booked, "for the last six months" and the hotel did not provide guests any other options except purchasing drinks and crackers from the gift shop for lunch and limited seating and a limited menu in the bar for dinner. "A" plus for the hotel; "F" for food service for guests at Christmas time.

The hotel is excellent and we really enjoyed our stay — the service, atmosphere, and overall experience were great. However, there was one point that was disappointing. We were not informed in advance that paying with American Express includes complimentary breakfast. This information was not mentioned on the website during the booking process, so I paid with a different card, although I could have used American Express to have breakfast included. It’s a pity that this is not clearly communicated at the time of booking, as it would help guests make a more informed decision and avoid misunderstandings.
