Ihana viihtyisä mökki Lakelandin kylässä, lähellä järveä ja kävelymatkan päässä Keswickistä. Maantaso:

Oleskelutila: TV: llä, DVD: llä, CD-radiossa ja puulämmitteellä (alkuperäinen polttoaineen toimitus mukana) alkuperäisessä kivitakkassa.
Keittiö / ruokailutila: sähköliesi, jääkaappi, astianpesukone, pesukone, kuivausrumpu ja mikroaaltouuni.
Suihkuhuone: suihkulla, WC ja pesuallas.

Makuuhuone 1: king-size-vuoteella ja vilkaisulla järvelle.
Makuuhuone 2: Yhden hengen sänky .. Kaikki sähkö, liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet sisältyvät. Pinnasänky saatavilla .. Ulkopuolella: Oleskelualue pihalla mökin edessä, takapihalla ja kadun pysäköintialueella .. Ihana merkkimökki, jonka omistajat ovat rakkaudella kunnostaneet, käyttämällä perinteisiä materiaaleja ja täydentävät laadukkaita kalusteita, moderni hyvin varustettu keittiö ja kylpyhuone. 1 Tower Mökillä on piha-alue ja se on yksi monista mökkeistä, jotka on muunnettu The Towersin entisistä grooms-mökeistä. Sijaitsee Portinscalen kylässä, Derwentwaterin pohjoisrannoilla, lähellä ravintoloita, pubeja, teehuoneita / kauppoja ja venesatamaa. Mökistä on ihania kävelyretkiä, sekä järven ympärillä että tunturille ja Keswickin tielle.

Ensimmäiseen kerrokseen on jyrkät portaat. Enintään kaksi koiraa lisämaksusta. Tälle kiinteistölle on saatavana Access-lausunto, soita tarvittaessa 01228 599 960.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Derwentwater. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa esimerkiksi ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden yleisissä tiloissa ja pyykinpesutilat. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön muun muassa ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja keittiön.

Great spot for a walking holiday, Not much in village itself but only 20 min walk into keswick. Well equipped cottage. Comfortable bed, great shower ( bathroom downstairs) Full set of OS maps which could be borrowed. On street parking ( not a problem out of season) not sure if this would be a problem in high season. Cottage was very cold on arrival 9 degrees! ( think person servicing the Cottage forgot to turn it on before we arrived?) Cottage toasty warm though by following day. Would definitely recommend it and visit again.

Lovely cottage

Had a brilliant week at this cottage after a rather bad start, I was given the wrong key codes on my paperwork and i could not access the cottage, on phone for over 20 minutes on hold to try to get it sorted but no one was answering the phone. Eventually rang an emergency number and the guy came around to the cottage to sort it, he rang the office got straight through and we had the wrong code to get the keys. Also the property was not thoroughly cleaned even with COVID, dead flies all over windowsill in sitting room and lots of food crumbs under the cushions on the sofa. Obviously has not been deep cleaned. Apart from all of that the cottage was very comfortable, in a great location and we had a great week.

This cottage is just lovely and perfect holiday accomodation, well equipped, warm and cosy. Just a couple of thoughts- an airer to dry clothes on would be useful rather than having to drape things over the radiators (if there was one I couldn't find it!) and a small stock of salt, pepper and herbs would be very useful! This was my second stay here and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The cottage is fine and is well equipped

The night storage heaters do there job but it means the cottage is cold when returning late afternoon. There was no wood ( as promised) on arrival and the wood burner took quite a while to work. This won't be an issue for most bookings but it is worth noting for winter bookings.

Nearly full marks to this lovely cottage which has been restored by the owners and is beautifully decorated. Only a few points: the cottage was quite cold downstairs when we arrived. The listing has said that there would be enough wood left for the log burner for one evening. There was nothing and one of the night storage heaters had not been switched on the previous evening and was cold. Microwave not no working and reported to agency. Otherwise, everything was good with the cottage. Once the heater had chanceto warm up and we bought some wood it was much warmer. Cottage is easy to find and the location is ideal for lovely walks around Derwentwater and short cut into Keswick. The launch on the lake goes all round and there is a stop 10 minutes walk from the cottage. Marina and activities nearby too. Only gave a 9 for local amenities as there isn't a general store in the village but an excellent pub and a cafe. Gave a 9 for cleanliness as our first job before we could eat was to clean the oven and the racks! We contacted Cumbrian cottages to say that we though we had left binoculars behind, but one week later, they have not yet come back.
